https://www.last.fm/user/CosmicOrigin/playlists/14492534 this is the list of songs I took from your library. I listened to it this weekend along with some of the similar artists and did find some good tunes I liked. The only artist from your list I could not find the song online for was 金井克子. I did find her album on discogs and purchased it. It's discogs, so I probably won't get the album until late this month.

Thank you, woofers can give a whole new meaning to music, especially for songs that have really nice bass response that might not be considered songs catered for subwoofer sounds

anxious: A song that reminds me of a specific song from a treasure trove of songs I found late last year of this particular style. I couldn't help but think of the that other songs whenever I listened to this, which for me is a good thing, it compliments it well. Definitely a fan of this one

as mentioned before, I stumble upon ddhs, and it happened to integrate with a different song I'm currently obsessed with so those two, ddhs and that other song, I've been playing together as they integrate together beautifully.

That's it, I try to be as honest as possible when talking about music, what I like and don't like and in no way try to disparage anyone's taste in music. And also, I have no talents in the art so really my thoughts of don't mean much of anything towards it, but at the same time, it's always fun to talk about music. Thanks for sharing this list, I definitely have intent to explore more from what was provided here.

it was a pleasant surprise hearing back from you, as i forgot i even posted these. im glad you can appreciate these songs and genres as i do, my only complaint is the vocals for vile impregnation is my favorite part of the band 😭 but besides that you have good thoughts, a good insight, and im glad you enjoy them like me. :)

Ha, so I guess I can clarify a bit more on the vocals of the vile impregnation song just so I can give a better idea of my thoughts on it. Everything from the beginning up to the minute mark is golden, I really like to violent squeal transition to the heavier vocal style in that section, it's great. But it's past the minute point where it becomes iffy for me. the instrumentation loses no value but the vocals, I think at relisten it's the more elongated vocal parts, still have pieces with appeal but others that just feels like too much applied for the song. I mentioned it's the weakest song of the list for me, but this is a strong list, the quality of all the songs is great all around. I'm also very certain if I dive into this bands catalog it'll be fairly easy for me to find something that I would consider as good or better as "slit throat..." because they were doing a lot of great things in that song.

The Merzbox set. There was a radio station that played it from start to finish uninterrupted when it was initially released. Spotify/Deezer don't have it. It would be ideal if there was a one vid of it on youtube, I would play it on my 24/7 player if that was the case.

I do have a dedicated player that plays music at all times in my domicile. Obviously don't scrobble it because it plays when I'm not home, asleep, or have a primary player I'm focused on. It's typically on random local content or long form streaming sources but merzbox is big enough to play for some time. The problem would be ascertaining all the content and like I mentioned, it's not on the streaming platforms as far as I can tell

It's becoming apparent that Spotify has been making their playlist/song radios commonly be populated with short songs, 2 minutes or less. I'm guessing this is being done so that ads can be played more frequently for non-paying members, there's no other reason I can think of why they would favor doing this but it's quite aggravating that they're favoring this short song model.

comparing the radios that Deezer creates with Spotify, the majority of songs Spotify chose were in the minute range whereas Deezer had a wide range of timespan for the songs chosen.

The MGV Bärndorf is a regional male choir and I am sure that no recordings of this choir can be found on the internet. "Thanks to Friends" is written to the tune of "Amazing Grace"; I chose the track for my mother's funeral, listened to it a lot back then and for that reason it tops my list of songs played on last.fm. Choose this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDvedoCTPyY - this version sounds almost like that of the MGV Bärndorf.

The similar likes: Gy!be, i don't really claim to have a favorite artist but gun to my head they would be on the short list if I had to choose. War on Drugs, found "Ocean in between the waves" and instantly loved their solid rock sound. Neurosis... it was Stones from the Sky that I found first but I now can't recall how I discovered it, great song and album. Grouper, is my future wife. She doesn't know that yet but she is definitely bae.

The recommendations: So I know Kurt Vile was in The War on Drugs and went to make his own thing and i've been meaning to listen to him since like a billion years ago but haven't. Perfect time to dive in. Russian Circles - I got Geneva a years ago and the few times it's popped up I haven't really found anything that has captivated me. But last year I heard Campaign from the Station album and it was/is excellent. I can give some songs from 'Enter' a try and see where my thoughts fall. The others I would have to find some songs to discover so I will be checking it out.

Idoli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them Even though I don't know what they're saying, it's great. Honestly, I heard about them the same way all the other artists from this discussion, just searching random stuff in random places and hoping to find good stuff along the way. I think I started with a song by Valentino Boskovic and found my way to Vetar I Zastave which is amazing. I love finding music from different tongues from different places in the world. Because of this convo, i now need to find more serbian music, if you have some to rec, please do. Going rogue and searching on my own too.

True story; My only claim to fame in the political spectrum is predicting Trump's presidency. When he first started being discussed as farce and having absolutely no chance of even being chosen as the Republican Rep for the Election, my office was throwing their jabs at him. In a spur of the moment situation I came up with a slogan for him "You Can't Trump the Don, 2016". So after every round of what is typical political career ending situation and Trump seemed to be on the ropes, I would always in some way say he has a card up his sleeve and clarify "you just can't trump the Trump". In conclusion, I apologize if my prescient abilities somehow created this current strait we're in.

So I heard Rivers a few month ago and it's a great song. But each time I listened to it, it made me recall a song I heard a few years ago. I knew that song was buried somewhere in my stacks but the problem is finding exactly where it is. Put some actual effort into looking for it and finally found it.
