Heb het nu al een paar keer volledig beluisterd en ik vind het echt wel goed, maar het is een dikke grower. Hun sound is vernieuwd en het is zeker geen Geogaddi 2. Dat kan je jammer genoeg niet verwachten na 22 jaar, maar er zitten zeker highlights tussen. Wat ik wel echt mis is de signature vuile tape textures die al hun vorige releases wel hadden. Die hoor je hier niet of amper. De outro van Prophecy of Deep Time, daar nog wel. Toevallig ook de twee teaser tracks. Overall solid release, maar het is echt niet hun beste album.

Er zijn mensen die dit het beste BoC album vinden, maar geen idee op welke wiet zij slecht zitten te gaan.

It's so original and unique and he plays a bunch of his own tracks in it. My favorite album of his has to be Cenizas with Piedras 1 (his latest) being a very close second. Although Space is only Noise is on 50% of the time in my car as I own the CD of it. Don't sleep on his Love You Gotta Lose Again EP. You can skip Pomegranates (for now). He also has a house alias called Against All Logic which is also great and he plays in a band called Darkside and imo Spiral is their best album. I am the Nicolas Jaar prophet.

Church any day of the week amen. I adore Aethiopes, don't get me wrong, but Church just hits me right in the kidneys and I love Messiah Musik's style. While Preservation might be the better producer of the two and keep the whole style of the album more cohesive, Church sounds more personal and intricate imo. What about you?
