Yeah, it was fun to see how some people just clad themselves however they liked, like the more 'unusual' people I saw at a Dir en grey concert. I don't like feuds either, so it's definitely nice to see that the vast majority of people here are tolerant of other countries. It's pretty hard to spot people of specific music subcultures of over here as well. There's the occasional metalhead or scenester, but you don't really see them outside of concerts. I don't think our countries would consider eachother enemies. I don't really follow politics, but it doesn't look like there are big conflicts between Russia and the Netherlands, neither amongst the people here.

No problem ^^ Within Temptatioin seems to be the biggest band from here. I personally don't know that many songs by them, but a couple of their more famous ones are pretty good.

I really want to play Borderlands 2 with some steam friends sometime. I have the GOTY edition, but the friends that have it are from the USA or New Zealand, making it tricky 'cause of the timezones. Console wise, I own a Wii, PS2 and a DS Lite. But nowadays, I mostly game on my laptop. As for metal and hardcore from here, these are some artists that I enjoy: Metal: https://botanical.bandcamp.com/ Gnaw Their Tongues, Heidevolk, Hypomanie, Cold Body Radiation, Epica, The Last Dominion (they've stopped though, and I couldn't find that many songs of them) and Within Temptation. As for hardcore, there is Angerfist, Evil Activities and Neophyte for the electronic / house genre. Tarantino for hardcore punk. I'm not that familar with Dutch hardcore punk bands, so Tarantino is the only band I know, outside of the (gore)grind scene. There's Reproach from Belgium though, which is also a pretty cool band.

Yeah, Borderlands is a lot of fun. I've only played the second one so far, but I've spent quite some time in it. Though I should actually finish the campaign sometime, hahaha. Thanks for the recommendations! The Ys series looks pretty cool, will definitely try it!

Pokémon is probably the closest, but I'm not sure if it truly counts as a j-rpg. I've been wanting to try out the Final Fantasy series, though. Do you maybe have some recommendations on specific titles?

Hi again, yes i do like Kipelov, i was introduced to them by a girl from Ukraine, also Valery's other band Aria,although i not heard too much by them, but i really do love 'Ya Svoboden' , great song, and its another way i learnt a few Russian words.
