I had to laugh at the one Moz superfan who was putting up a fight with security as he tried to charge up the stage. The dumbass was throwing elbows at them, while calling out to Moz. He got ROUGHLY escorted away to everyone's delight. Fucking embarrassment for the real fans. Hey Moz, we're not all lunatic psychos like that guy. :P

i thought i'd seen it all. now, I've been on the frontrail my share of times for a Morrissey show, but last night there must have been over 30 security guys lined up in the photographers pit area to prevent stage-jumpers and to handle the crowdsurfers and squished fans once everyone pushed forward. you know I get it, you love Morrissey, but I fucking HATE the ones who think they're superfans and that think they deserve your spot more than you. wait 8 hours for Moz just like me, assholes who arrive late to the set and bully their way forward. I still have bruised ribs from getting pressed against the rail, but I expected that. Last count, no one did make it onstage to hug Moz. (I don't count the fan who was already at the sidestage who was probably a VIP). lol

I'm going to miss your journals :(

i liked their setlist as well. They played most of the ones I really wanted to hear, only omitting "Volcano" (which is my favorite one off the new album). VERY pricey merchandise, though. I just got one tour shirt. Hope you have fun!

U2 next weekend for you! I think you'll enjoy the stage setup, but be forewarned there's 2 stages. depending on which one you're closest to, for some songs you may not have the best view. when i saw them, i was closest to the little mini-stage (which i preferred). :)

i only have 12x zoom on mine (that's why i always try to get as close as possible for GA shows). if it's a really large venue and my seats are bad, i'll be content with just taking one video for keepsake. :P

Moz is touring again! Is he swinging by New York? I got tickets for his LA show. This time it's at the LA Sports Arena. Kind of a dump (and the Clippers used to play there). But definitley smaller and more to my liking than the Staples Center. He's got Tom Jones opening for him this time! And Kristeen Young (uggh).

i'll let you know how i do. i'm going to aim for Show#1 (the "Autobahn" album show). The pre-registering method is kinda weird, but seems fair to me. There's a 4 ticket limit across all 8 shows, so I have to choose wisely if i make it in. I think I know which will be the more popular ones. Unfortunately, I think the "Autobahn" one may be one of them. My second choice would be the "Computer World" album show.
