Well, you could try listening to vad fruttik, 30y or kaukázus then, these three are my favorite 'alter' bands here. In the meantime I realized that most of the previously listed bands have hungarian lyrics too, so the end of the shout was quite pointless after all, but nevermind.

Well, depends. By your charts, I assume you have a pretty diverse taste in music, so I'm gonna throw some random stuff in. Thy Catafalque, Gire (both projects of Kátai Tamás, he has some nice piano music too), Yonderboi, We Plants Are Happy Plants, Képzelt Város, Téveszme. Will recommend more if anything comes to my mind. There are also some really good alternative bands here, but they make music only in hungarian, so I don't know whether you'd like them or not.

Well I can't really go into details because I'm not really into classical music but he is considered one of the greatest musical genius of the country(Liszt is comparable) but Bartók is closer to us because of the influence he gets from Hungarian folk music and celebrated regularly.

I agree with you on that one. The main reasons that I listen to meal nearly exclusively is the fact that A. It's a constant burst of energy and excitement and B. It's extremely diverse, so it's hard to get bored of. Black metal is fine in moderate amounts, but I'd probably be depressed all month if that's all I listened to. I don't wanna feel feels. Ever.

Whenever I see that painting, I see that edit of the Pacman version. 4chan has ruined me ;_;

Start with Blood Fire Death. If you enjoy the black metal part of it more, go to their first three albums (Particularly the Return... I heard), if you prefer the epic songs more like A Fine Place to Die and Blood Fire Death, move on to the Viking albums (Hammerheart, Blood on Ice, Twilight of the Gods, Nordland I and II).

The only bands I know from Venezuela are Caramelos de Cianuro (latin rock), and Los Amigos Invisibles, (acid jazz/funk or something, this one's played a lot in the clubs), both of them pretty popular here, hope that helped.

That's an absolutely fascinating conclusion. Both the science world and me, especially, thank you for you for your time and anal cavity. You have been an invaluable help and I don't know how I can ever thank you enough.

well, you go do that. 5 genres. 3 artists each. report back with your data. With this research, I could probably get you on the ground floor of a revolutionary music-based dildo product line.

Bad Moon Rising is my favorite Sonic Youth album, but pretty much anything pre-1990 is guaranteed awesome.

You're in for a treat. Check out Parklife, s/t/, and 13 as well. Personally, Suede is my favorite britpop band, but Blur is a close second.
