The ban was just for fresher's week, I think. I got caught drinking underage three times, by the same bouncer. How unfortunate is that? Only bother with union on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, though, 'cause they do quid drinks on those days. Which is cruel, because I'm in at nine every single day of the week. Pretty boring weekend in store, though. All my mates have picked the same weekend to head home, so there's noone around. D: How're you finding your course?

Freshers fortnight?! Christ. Freshers week was pretty much a 7 day bender for me(I got banned from our union during it :(). I can't imagine having it last two weeks. My halls are pretty terrible. And never clean. Cheap, though. I literally just got internet in my flat, and I can't get the last.fm scrobbler to work. :<

Yeah. I think The Rolling Stones being early favourites to headline may have been a contributing factor to them selling out so quickly. Uni's great. Pretty tiring, but I'm loving it. Glasgow's awesome, too. Though I'm spending far too much money money on gigs, and I now have no money left for the weekend. :( How about you? Take it you've moved up to London?

in response to your previous comment which I failed to get back to, school started last Tuesday... lol all my teachers seem cool and my philosophy teacher randomly played the Philosophers' Drinking Song by Monty Python which was awesome. :D and I don't know if you've seen but Matty is in a new band!! So far it seems a bit more 'dancey' than Parka but he said live they're somewhat rockier, which suits me. lol

I never technically stopped scrobbling! I just have a loooot of spare time on my hands and my iPod is working properly again. :o Yeah, I should be going to Manc. It's not confirmed yet but it's looking likely. :) I imagine you're getting your results on the 20th? Erm, nothing wrong with my old rucksack. It doesn't exist. I went to Glastonbury with a suitcase on wheels.. I know.. I'm never living that one down. The handle gave out about 5 minutes into the trek off the site on Monday, so I had to carry it in my arms, stopping every 20 yards to get my breath back. And I get the feeling next year's Glasto won't be as good. Though that's probably just me being pessimistic. This year's just seemed perfect in every way to me. ;_;

Yeah, I actually did an "about me". Don't think I've ever had one on here before. The avatar is the one I had on my previous account, back by popular demand. Yeah, I'm going to End of the Road. Well, I think I am. I have tickets, but I may end up ebaying them, as I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford to come down from Manchester for it. The line up is pretty much the best I've ever seen, and I'll be gutted if I can't go. I'm still obsessed about Glastonbury, though. My friends all hate me because I never shut up about it, and I've already bought a new rucksack for next year. >_>

Yeah the early Snow Patrol is a lot better, the only 'new' song of theirs I really like is Chasing Cars. I have Songs For Polarbears (stupidly I bought the original one without the bonus tracks because I didn't realize that existed...) and it's excellent, I've heard some songs from their 2nd album as well. I'm currently working at this place where they fix trucks (or lorries as you guys would say lol) and buses, i basically just clean and do other odd jobs, it pays well but it's so boring and i have to wake up at 5:30 am (which should even exist unless you haven't gone to bed yet lol), i actually can't wait to get back to school so i won't have to go anymore... which sounds ungrateful particularly since its hard to find a job right now but it's true... haha i hope you're able to find something before school starts tho! I noticed that you also listen to Boy Kill Boy and Metric, which is awesome! I've actually seen Metric live, as they're from Toronto, they were great.

Wooow, you have no idea how jealous i am... haha I'd love to go to Glastonbury, we have some festivals over here but they're not anywhere near some of yours in terms of size, the quality of the bands and sheer epicness. I'm doing great thanks! I'm regretting not going to the Vans Warped Tour when it came to Toronto because one of my fave bands The Bouncing Souls were on it, but oh well. I'm currently working 4-5 days a week, partly to help pay for college, partly to be able to attend every single Toronto FC home match and partly to expand my record collection. =) Have you listened to any of Snow Patrol's early stuff (pre-major label)? It's really different but great in my opinion.

just thought I'd mention that my fears over 6NS were unfounded indeed, it's just been quiet cause their label don't have any money right now to do records with them, but they are still around and together. =D So how are you anyway? regarding college it's right close by to my house so i won't be moving out, but when I go to uni I'd like to go somewhere far... and yeah i'd imagine jeepster would probably be struggling at the moment, i also read that their distribution company went under around christmas... as long as we see 6NS resurface at some time I'm happy. =) lol

Well I read on their myspace around the new year that this bar where they were storing all their equipment burnt down, so that could be part of the reason for the lack of news. It wouldn't really shock me if they ran out of money TBH... Gerry is doing solo gigs right now apparently, I'd go if i lived there... =( lol

I had some more Glasto dreams. :o It always seems to be night time in them, and the site always seems to look like the forest from the Harry Potter series. Facebook's annoying because it seems to think that I care about every random idiot and some quiz they just took. I think I may have to start pruning my friend list. I just wish they'd announce more exciting names for Glasto. Every other festival seems to have done so.

Haha, when I saw Mogwai last month I nicked the guitarist's setlist, and my mate caught one of the drummer's sticks. And I had a chat with them before the gig, which was cool.. I keep on having dreams about Glasto. Last night I had a dream that I missed the train, arrived really late, and couldn't find my ticket, but they let me in anyway. x_x Just seen the Reading/Leeds headliners, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead. Slightly jealous, but oh well.

My myspace profile is pretty amusing. I think I must have originally designed it a couple of years ago. Looking at it now, I must have been a pretty major scene kid. More of a facebook person, now, though, so I'm mostly preserving my myspace page in it's current state so I can laugh at it in a couple of years. Brighton. Pretty close to you! Gig scene is pretty good there, from what I've seen, and it's not too hard to come and go from London if anyone particularly good is on there either. Haha, the prospectus thing is so true. I think Liverpool eploy a similar tactic, but then again, one of the reasons that Liverpool, Manc and Sheffield appeal to me is the music scene. :p I'd forgotten all about Latitude, actually. Tickets go on sale in a couple of weeks. :o I think they announce the line up minutes before the tickets become available, the bastards. But I am going to try and cram in as many gigs as I can while I'm in England, even if it drives me bankrupt(which it will). And yeah, it was pretty funny watching England fall to pieces because of the snow earlier this year. hope it snows again next winter. :> Ooh, you're seeing Franz Ferdinand tonight! I think Manchester and Liverpool are the only unis I've ever been really interested in. Leeds, Sheffield and Coventry were my other three choices. Liverpool actually have much higher entry requirements than Manc, but to be honest, I can't really be bothered going for Liverpool. If I don't get into Manc, I imagine I'll retake my exams next year.. But hopefully that won't/shouldn't happen.. Haha, we've had an awful winter here too. Usually snows loads, but this year it's just been boring and wet and cold. ._. I'm going to have to get used to it if I end up in Manchester. :< Summer's just about the only thing worth living for in Greece... doesn't really make much sense that I'm spending a month of it in England. :D
