I do actually! Some of it is a bit less accessible to me ears but the good songs are amazing songs! You?

Ha! Yeah, checking out what all the hype is about. Result = some dirty electro-pop! Too much of it makes me feel kinda sick though.

That's great though (even if it is a sign of humans circling the drain as a species, so to speak)! ;) Congrats! Uhm, things are well here. I'm going to try to cobble together a paper about minorities (particularly undocumented immigrants) and the U.S. health care system for an international conference. We'll see what happens. So I have a music recommendation for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb6cBKE3WzQ Believe it or not, I heard it on the radio in a friend's car a few weeks ago. There was something good on the radio!

ill check out that recommendation, cheers. this will destroy you (earlier stuff) and codes in the clouds are adequate imitators of EITS. my copy of take care is really good quality, no mouse clicks etc, this is where i got it from: http://strikegently.com/2011/03/complete-leak-explosions-in-the-sky/ . of course im going to buy the album when it comes out too. i think the production is much better than on their previous albums, i always felt the drums, in particular the snare, were too thin-sounding on earth is not a cold dead place. although thats my one and only criticism of the album really. take care's production is perfect

Hey man i wasn't judging you. if you want to listen to a bit of Cher then you go ahead and enjoy yourself. lol. yeah i agree nothing stands out. i think some of the songs go on for too long, clinging on to the same melody for minutes on end (last known surroundings being the best example). earth is not a cold dead place was so good because it didnt mess around; the melodies never outstayed their welcome. I'd say it's nowhere near as good as the earth is not a cold dead place, and it's only a little bit behind all of a sudden i miss everyone (the only tracks i care for on that are birth and death of the day and its natural to be afraid, but both of those are better than anything on take care); but that probably still makes it the third best post-rock album i've ever heard. ive heard quite a lot and so far nothing compares to EITS, with the possible exception of hymn to the immortal wind coming close, but i still need to dedicate more time to that album before i decide.

Shame, but it is well expensive. Worth it? Probably but still. I might go to the End of the Road Festival. I missed out on tickets for the GreenMan, gutted :( Any nice dates for Oceansize? I'm probably going t be at Koko

Hey, I haven't logged in in a while but it's still counting, I'm impressed with my latest counts! I was checking the Electric Picnic line-up... It's the best I've seen this year with the Primavera Sound but... 240€!!! Jesus. You going?

Yeah i was taking a scan a couple of weeks ago looking for something new to listen to and seen that you "loved" a track or two and thought i'd look into it. Picked up the album on itunes that night and have really enjoyed it. Was listening to it a good bit the other week when i was working on pictures from a recent photo shoot and it was the perfect music to work to. Some truly beautiful music. Thanks the link re Boy is Fiction, i've managed to get these downloaded but haven't managed to listen to them yet, Might try later on tonight. Thanks

Put some heating on, look at my recent listens and count how many times I have listened to Unreachable by Frusciante. It's on the latest album and you should give it a try: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fqc4Vzxfz8 It's very nice :)

I love Cocteau Twins, therefore I love This Mortal Coil and this song is amazing. Have you heard John Frusciante's latest album? He's covered it and it's also quite good :)

I found it through stimpled0rf, whom I was following on Twitter. We decided to take our relationship to another level and be last.fm friends. I know--high level of commitment. Then I found you through his profile, and added you with the whimsical mindset that there are no strangers in my life, just friends I haven't met yet. The end.
