Very much digging the new Swans. I've listened to it all the way through three times (that's a total of six hours), but I probably won't be returning to it anytime soon. It's a brilliant but exhausting listen. We were listening to it when I picked you up from work!

yeah, it has been entirely too long. I know we keep making plans and forgetting all about them, but are you gonna be around during spring break? I'm barricading myself in my house in order to get my thesis done. I'm sure company at some point would be life saving. doing the same thing i do every night. go out for adventures and come back to have flatmates wake me up by yelling drunkenly on the balcony. In Our Bedroom After the War is their most recent album before The Five Ghosts comes out on June 22nd, which they're playing at the show. The first single off the new one is out tho which is "Fixed".

yeah it was proposed to me that my opinion of modest mouse was crass and ill-informed, so I'm again digesting their discography. My opinion hasn't changed much though; i don't consider them a 'b-side band' nor has my favor left "This is a Long Drive...", and I still don't like Moon and antarctica.
