yeah absolutely. although lately i can't stop listening to the last.fm 'radio' playlists... the 'darkspace' or 'sun of the blind' lists are my faaaaaavouriteess right now ... found so much new (and amazing) music.

haha yeah man, i know the song 'death pierce me', i like it :D dont know the rest of the album though. apparently he recorded the vocals in the studio while slicing his hands with really sharp blades....i guess it's just about fucked up enough to fit in with the rest of his concepts. i have no idea if it's true or not, but that's word on the street.. :P

It's just a tad less insane than Halmstad maybe, but musically at least as good i.m.o. The playing is fantastic again, at least as good as on Halmstad. I know this is a different drummer, but he plays just as good as the previous guy, Kvarforth really knows how to pick amazing musicians. Also the production is even a tad better and more powerful than on Halmstad. So far I think I still prefer Halmstad, but this one is great too and I'm sure it'll grow even more on me. Definitely a top contender for my 2009 list! Can't wait for VII ;)

Yeah, I downloaded it yesterday, I think it's a rip from an online audio stream, it sounds very compressed. The album sounded great though, gonne be an instant purchase for sure, whenever it finally emerges ;)

Unfurl is 100% without a doubt my most favourite song ! It's my top played .... even since my iTunes reset >_< heh. I'm just saying that it's so good it'd be hard for the other songs on the album to match it :P Although like you said, Katatonia could probably rise to the challenge. AHH i can't wait ...i just joined the katatonia forums to keep an eye on the progress though, yay.

On Konkurs, tracks 10,11 and 12 shouldn't be in that sequence, listened individually they're great though. That is my only compliaint about the album, other than that its solid as fackinn shiiit.

Tribulation's really oldschool Death Metal with a lot of Thrash influences. Sounds like Repugnant with a touch of old Morbid Angel and Kreator. Really fast and catchy. Dunno if you would like 'em but worth a try /Stefan :)

You're right, shame it was cancelled this year even though the line-up didn't look that interesting (except for Steven Wilson).

Hi Brandon, Insignificance is 'merely' a collection of demos/B-sides, but somehow I've really come to like it, contains some excellent songs like Wake as Gun, Smiling Not Smiling, Nine Cats etc. It comes as a bonus disc with the 2-disc digipak re-issue of Signify. Recommended!

That is cool and fucking stupid at the same time... I don't think we should have to wait till fall for the album that was suppose to be out last year... But its sweet they are actually done with it.
