ugh, so ridiculously good. we paid way too much to get into beirut since it was sold out, but it was so worth it. and the dodos opened, i don't know if you listen to them but they are mega awesome. and sunset was at this tiny venue so i was standing literally in front of spencer, like we could have high fived or something. they are just incredible. i liked that show better than wolf parade even i'd say. have you been listening to dragonslayer at all? what do you think? also, what are your thoughts on the new modest mouse? they're playing here soon, but i'm kind of meh about it.

The BoH record is indeed really great. I see myself listening to it for a long time to come... Much more than a One Tree Hill band like I thought initially. And oddly, I don't find the combination of ASMZ and DFA too out there. There's some sort of similar quality to both of their music that goes beyond sound, I think.
