Hi! :) New italo disco single co-written and co-produced by Roger Gunnarsson of Cloetta Paris: http://youtu.be/gvBifswwZAc :) It's available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon. Enjoy!

Yeah, I don't get it. Listened to her album once, unmoved. Moved by hype, spun again--still nothing. As for singles, Jamie xx gave Rolling in the Deep some spice, but Someone Like You is, to these ears, nothing more than a standard, serviceable ballad, up (or down) there with the Candlelight Remix of DJ Sammy's cover of "Heaven".

I had no idea I had that many different artists. I think what happens is that I scrobble different friend's radio stations on my iPhone and iPad and they have artists I don't have in my collection. I'm happy to represent their artists. I've wanted to visit the Phillipines. Do you live in Manila?

Harks back to my chile'h00d: http://www.quincycove.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Morton-Salt-photo-by-flickr-user-_nickd.jpg I was at some dingy restaurant a few days back & some girl had it tattooed on her arm. I was...impressed.

Sorry for the inconvenience sir. But there has been a change in my account. (Player...upchuck)

But you've since changed your ways. <3 On the whole, your only major lack is This Is Happening. Anything else is more or less gratuitous. I do have my week to two-week long stints of stagnancy myself because "keeping up" can become a little tedious, no doubt about it.

Upon reviewing your 2k10 best of assortment, you're not doing so bad? And of course I'd refer to you as Ralph. You're not stranger to me. ;) BTW, I C U @ MediaSource.

Rated R is a prelude to "The funk is ova; let's pppparty." RedOne on the track (if he's still relevant in a year).

Have you listened to Rated R in full yet? I think there are a pair of singles in Fire Bomb and Rude Boy.

I'm thankful for the new Sufjan record as well. Symphonic music is not something I normally listen to, but I do enjoy the BQE. Have you heard the new Rihanna single "Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova)"?

That's BET star, Frankie, mother of Keyshia Cole and recovering? crackhead. In that photo, she's either wearing a grill on her dentures or dentures made out of foil. As for recommendations of new stuff, I'm enjoying the album Album by Girls, Annie's Don't Stop, xx by the XX. And of course Lady GaGa's new single RA RA AH AH AH ROMA ROMA MA GA GA OOH LA LA aka Bad Romance.

Not officially, but my favorite 2008 albums were roughly: Cut Copy, Vampire Weekend, Lil Wayne, M83, Deerhunter, Air France, Gang Gang Dance. Chris Brown's "Forever" was my 2nd most played song of the year, but I'd like to black that out.

Right. What really pained me is when I was listening to Kala a few days about and she goes "OMG is that MIA?" ugh

Yeah it seems like I played the shit out of that when it came out, but then I just dropped it. This girl at work asked me if I was listening to tribal music, but she always has questions about what I'm listening to, consider she listens to whatever is played on top 40 radio and that's it. A couple days ago I was listening to Bon Iver "Woods" - his T-Pain track - and she perked up 'What song is that?" as if she knew it. It was kinda funny but I had to dismiss "nothing you would know."

Oh, but of course, and Thom bit back, albeit much more subtly than Miles to Go or Kanye. And for the afrobeat - have you heard The Very Best mixtape, Esua Mwamywye vs Radioclit?

I love the Amadou & Mariam picture; makes me want to be blind and have a blind lover. I've heard one of their songs and briefly loved it, whichever one P4K had in their year-end.

The Renaissance is top notch. Best Hip Hop album of the year, as far I'm concerned. After all these years, you would have to expect Q to gather only the best material for the album. And that he did.

So glad you liked it! It was nice to have the opportunity to lay my cards on the table, so to speak. I think people catch me in glimpses, and perhaps don't entirely understand me in a greater context. I tried to explain the factors that influence my perspectives on music, and more importantly, life & art's great connection. In some ways, too meaty a topic for a lightweight forum, but since I was asked to share my thoughts, I relished the opportunity! And you remind me so much of myself in my late teens...you're so culturally precocious, yet unfettered by affectations & posing. I love that.

Thanks so much! I really didn't expect POTY...and hooray for the GA win! I wish the Kills also had won, but I knew it was a stretch

That would be me! Don't forget about Funniest and Best Gay (whatever that means; isn't it the same as Best Overall?).
