Considering the area of Canada I moved to, I am lucky to be able to say I hike, snow shoe and walk mountain trails on a regularly basis. I appreciate it, especially since where I come from, any sort of outdoor beauty is hours away. I still love my all day video game outings, though, and the many more interests that I enjoy. You have impeccable taste yourself, fellow resident of Canada. Keep it Metal, as always!

btw, i would love to have a Subaru wrx sti 2005 version. I think that if it what you want and you dont have to hurt anyone else to get it then go for it. It is an amazing car in the game and IRL. My buddy has a 2009 one and it drives amazingly....mmmm all wheel drivetrains

i understand about forza 4...it is a simulator...not a racing game, so it is quite difficult and time consuming to get into,. I just love the gearhead aspect, plus i cant deny the physics and geometry of racing as a focal point for me to obsess over. About music, i have been collecting and scrutinizing music since i was 9 or 10. I listened to some of my first metal albums in 1995-96 and i havent stopped obsessing over time signatures and riff patterns for 15 years now. I still love owning physical copies, and i do have some; but 90 percent of my music collection is on hard drives that are backed up 3 times. I absolutely still love going to support the artists and buying merch though. There isnt a time that i wont go see Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, or Between the Buried and Me. I could be in the middle of a shift at work and i would drop everything to see them.

indeed...as always, anything you ever want to converse about is ok with me. I love all the things you talked about including being a car enthusiast. I absolutely love tuning cars on forza 4 and studying the dynamics of racing in general. And, about philosophy,...the fact that you dont think about philosophy because you think it is a waste but understand that others do is just another philosophy specific to you. Food for thought :)

physics is my hobby, i am a computer science major with a minor in mathematics. I love thermodynamic principles, holography and existentialist philosophies....To be honest, even though i love those subjects, mostly it is just used to occupy myself so that my thoughts dont overrun my mental sanity. Its all bullshit anyway lol; what do you enjoy (besides music)?

My habits of listening to music may feel weird, because I listen much to independent songs, and from some bands I only have a few songs, no whole albums. I'm changing it a bit towards listening whole albums now when I listen much to Moonsorrow. Their songs don't work that well independently, so I usually listen to them in whole albums, which has made me listen to whole albums with other bands too. But the change isn't easy. :D

I don't see any point giving some bands I hate low scores based on some songs I've heard for example from radio. I'd like to hear the whole album, usually several times before I give them a score. I don't want to use time pondering if some pop album is worth of 1 or 1,5 stars. :D But you're right, I should rate more, because I have about 1/3 of my albums still unrated.

=D Sometimes I can't perceive new music and to be unprejudice sometimes. In example, when I'm tired or when I've already listned a lot of new stuff. So, in this cases, I listen to old music. And in different mood of course different music. And sometimes I meet such songs, which reflect my inward) And crazy listenings are the result of such situations)))

Hey!, I was actually in California for a week. Now I have been busy lately on studies and exams. I mostly use rym to read reviews on obscure albums and last.fm's recommendations are spot on most of the time. I usually check both at the same time so; its pretty even.

Hey Nic, it's been a pretty hectic few months with work and school and different campus organizations. I wasn't even close to finishing my 2010 metal list so I figure a 2011 list would be pointless. I'm trying not to miss the "big" releases at the very least, but I could definitely use some extra hours in the day lol! Keep at it.
