I adore them. I think they're done playing shows forever though, they did their "final show" in Seattle I think. Such a shame, I never got to watch them perform. You should check out Justin Walter, another signing to Kranky. He just released his debut album and it's cool as balls. He uses this electronic valve instrument and a drum machine. He opened for Colin Stetson when I saw him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o161ddNCiyg

I don't scrobble them on here very much. We Will Always Be and Depths are both two of my favorites, Consciousness is up there too. I love them so much.

I just realized you have a ton of Windy & Carl plays. What's your favorite of theirs? They're actually from the town that I live in, they're wife and husband and run a record shop together:)

Ahhhh great! Yes, I was dancing in the front for Trust, I'm so glad I saw that one. Field Trip was legendary.

At field trip, how does the VIP differentiate from the general passes? Just curious, I'm going as well

hahaha sao paulo is like the most important city and state of brazil and of all latin america actually. it sure is a nice place to live but i feel very disconnected from here sometimes. i plan moving to europe in the next few years or even spending a while in america. i'm much more to europe, though, i have a lot more in common with the european way of life/culture. you're not missing much from brazil, but i'm thinking that maaaybe you could enjoy some music from here, specially if you fancy some folk/singer-songwriter music

Not really, no. It just gets me terribly bored. It's the musical equivalent of The Lord of The Rings movies for me. Haha. But I guess there's an exception for everything... I can stand Mogwai's earlier stuff for example. And Low! I really like them!

Hmm I like a bit of electronic here and there but mostly just the popular stuff... Anything that's borderline post-rock I usually can't be bothered with. So jelly that you get to see all these amazing artists live. My favorite bands never come to my country :(

Ah well I haven't listened to any of them in a while except maybe Mazzy Star and it took me quite some time to realize that I don't even like St. Vincent that much. I'm not familiar with many of these artists in your library :/
