Hello! :) Thanks for the recommendation. No, I don't have spotify but I checked them out on last.fm. I'm not sure yet whether I like them or not to be honest ;) The singer's voice sounds really awesome but the clean vocals ruin it a bit for me. But maybe I just have to get accustomed to it - or rather listen to an entire song instead of those short samples on last.fm - to form a more "well-founded" opinion about them. I will see if I find some of their full songs on their homepage or YouTube :)

That's cool! Great to hear you had a nice birthday :) I have been doing well lately, even though I am very busy with learning for my final exams at the moment. But after that I am finally finished with my apprenticeship! Three years passend by really fast. And the best thing is that they offer me a permanent employment afterwards (which isn't a matter of course) so I am very lucky! :D

well, I've been to Munich recently and visited Oktoberfest =) rivers and oceans of beer!!! I tried a lot of different kinds =) And in general everything seems to be fine: a lot of work, German lessons, lack of time for something else, lack of sleep - usual stuff =)

Sort of, yeah. Sweeter than sangria though, and less fruity tasting. :P It's hard to describe, you should just try it, haha.

I love mead... it just tastes like sweet wine, sort of honey flavored. I can only have 1 glass at a time though, it's too sweet to drink more than that. But I don't have it often so when someplace has it I usually get some.

It wasn't very violent actually. *shrug* And I had some mead, and then some beer. :) It's a pretty small place so they didn't have much of a beer selection, I went with Killian's.

Whenever you come over here lemme know :D , I'll show you the joys of Belgian beer.

Haha it's a movie that just came out, about these kids that see a train crash and then all this weird shit starts happening in their town. It's like ET + The Goonies + Cloverfield :D

Yeah my weekend was pretty good I guess, although it was raining most of the time so I didn't get to go outside as much as I wanted. But I went to see Super 8 which was pretty good, then went to a colonial tavern that's near where I live. ^.^ Noodles & cheese are pretty tasty, I dunno what you're talking about haha. :D

Hehe, that could be ;) I've spent my holidays (short one though) in Schwerin last week and this week from Tuesday to Friday I was on a business trip in Berlin and visited the librarian days :)

Yeah, it was crazy. The closest one came about 15-20 miles from where I live. By the time the storm got to my house it was just insane winds and a ton of rain. But there was lightning like I've never seen before, it was very unusual. We have all kinds of crazy weather around here but never tornadoes, at least not ones that actually do any real damage.

A wedding was the reason I was up there. It was a nice weekend though. But then we had TORNADOES here yesterday, which was fucked, we never get them. 4 people died. =\

I read "Quake" by Richard Laymon - a book from our library! ;)

I even have both Stormblast albums :) The remastered one from 2005 I got for Christmas (Dimmu Borgir for Christmas, such an irony!) and the orginal one from 1996. I got that one as present from a friend on last.fm :D And the album I am planning on bidding on (didn't do yet) is right now at 1,00 € plus 1,60 € postage. Nobody is bidding on it yet, so I may be able to get it that cheap :D Yesterday night I didn't do much, just finished reading my book and sitting at the computer ^^

Hm, sounds good :) And what did you do yesterday night when you went out? I'm curious! :P My mother will be getting Godless Savage Garden. That's the one that is still missing :)
