well... I see Jim is as that energetic, theatrical, charismatic leader here (have you seen When You're Strange documentary maybe?), while Syd is that one staying in the backround, avoiding publicity, left to his own devices, more mysterious.. of course, both were lyricists (Syd had also musical skills, but none for Jim), creative wild beasts, had their curly brown hair and self-destructive tendencies, though Syd's story is way sadder and touching. I just think it's not exactly a good comparison. why do you think so?
