Hey--I just wanted to poke in to your page and say that the only reason I mentioned that guy's age on Janelle Monae's shoutbox was because he referred to himself as a "seasoned listener." I definitely respect young peoples' opinions but that seemed really egotistical to me. I wouldn't even call myself that and I'm 26, listen to lots of music, and listen to music daily. Was just pointing out that a little humility is a good thing, but I think it's also something that generally comes with age. No hard feelings towards young people! :)

Ah, that explains a lot. I thought I saw some shows from WAY earlier that were so much cheaper. Rooms tend to vary - it would very much depend on A) Whether your parents would come with us - if they did we could stay further out because London hotels will expensive no matter where you stay. It would also depend on B) Your budget, because you don't have to just budget in the cost of the hotel but also the cost of travelling to and from the hotel. I'd say... This could cost easly £200 - depending on how much the hotel and tickets are. That's what... Two months EMA give or take?

Oh shit. Thems some expensive tickets. Yerah, we'll email tomorrow and work it our. My brother (he is useful for squeezing money out of) has offerned to contribute some towards it as well. I think we'd take the train as it's a straight route to Kings Cross, I think. We would probably have to stay over night but because I would be eighteen unless your parents wanted to come with us, we could have a hotel room. Have to be two singles. Budget can't stretch to a double on my own.

Yeah, she really does. :D Though after her concert Utada United 2006 her voice was nearly ruined, and all her recent stuff is much more strained. :/ She's still an above average singer, but it's just tragic considering how amazing her voice was before.
