I was actually talking about the single launch, but good to hear about the whole recovery thing! I picked up the whole 'sir' thing by incessantly watching episodes of The Mighty Boosh. Blatantly ripped it off Howard Moon, I did. I see a lot of myself in Howard, which is frightening to say the least.

It was only a minor scrapple. My car came off a bit worse for wear but it's actually ready for me to pick up today, just waiting on the parents to drive down and pick me up and take me back.

It's a bad weekend to invite me anywhere. Crashed my car last weekend and am stuck in Torquay for a while. Sorry! I might've come otherwise.

And you can make this conclusion from a thumbnail picture and some random correspondence? God, you should watch me try to surf. Got my own brand of awkward cuteness, I do. Plus, tickets on myself.

Aw, I wish I had the skills to record my own album! Way cooler than doing more school. But...I can't seem to find anything else to do, so back to school for me it is. :p I hope your album's coming along real nicely. And I'm sorry to hear about your knee. :( My sister had major knee surgery a few years back, it's pretty tough stuff to go through. I hope the surgery goes well (or went well if it already happened...)

sir, what did you do to your knee? Perhaps you'll find consolation in the fact I'm pretty sure I've pulled a muscle in my lower left hand back. I make old people noises when I get up and down.

I'm pretty good. I'm going to start working on my Master's degree and teaching a little bit, delaying getting a real job as long as possible. Fun stuff. How're you these days?

So, you like the Eels then? Not my favourite, but a respected place in the collection nonetheless for me. I like-a-the quirk. Ah, Brunswick st. I know where that is! I've got family in Strathmore, which I think is kind of close-ish?

Nope, single and fancy-free. And I didn't know anyone in Torquay before I moved there. Best of both worlds indeed! It's far more trendy and commercial down here while still not being far from countryside; I am planning a nice big mountain bike ride from Juc to Anglesea sometime two weeks away. Get to ride the coastline all the way. Where abouts in Melbourne does thou dwell?

I know I shouldn't. But I have this adrenalin craving, you see, which makes me want to go fast all the time. I actually grew up in Melbourne, but moved up to Ballarat when I was ten. I think it worked out OK. There are just some nice, comfy things I can associate with Ballarat life that wouldn't have been present in Melbourne. I did, however, very much want to move to Melbourne as soon as I finished uni. The only thing that stopped me was getting this job. I have a feeling I might end up there one day anyhow; I have a lot of friends down there and pretty much all my extended family lives in various suburbs.

I think it's a happy medium, frankly. Geelong is only 15 minutes away. Ballarat's about an hour away speeding, which I do most of the time. And the trip to Melbourne flies by. I'm a happy commuter, provided I have an ipod to jack in.

Commendations to them! It was very well put together graphically in my opinion. Nope, not in Ballarat anymore; as soon as I graduated last year I got this job at Quiksilver as the junior accessories designer. Thus, I have moved down to Jan Juc. I do tend to make the trip back most weekends, to go to Karova and see some live music and whatnot. There's a stupendous scene up there music wise!

Ah! I actually got that compilation off Jade (lead of Jasmine Eyes) at their gig two weeks ago. There is some cracking music on there! Was it part of a graphic design brief? I assumed that each student in the course got to illustrate/design a postcard for each artist on the comp. Pretty cool brief I should say! (I graduated last year from a graphic design course in Ballarat. I would have LOVED a brief like that).

Actually, I noticed your profile because you listened to Jasmine Eyes, which happens to be a band three good friends of mine are in! Checked me out some Filthy Soup; I must say I enjoyed it, sir.
