i have a link to my last.fm on my about me page. but no one reads it, so it doesnt really have any sense. ;) i though our music tastes are kinda different so i'm glad we have some bands in common. i'm not a big fan of Phoenix but i listened to them some time ago and their music made me happy. my favourite song is If I Ever Feel Better. it's super fantastic. we have some electronic bands in poland. for example Kamp! you can check them if you want. i'm not really a fan of electronic music except for some bands i kinda like. for example the knife (they are electronic, right?). the story about DIIV is i started listening to one of their songs on spotify and then i went to take a shower but i forgot to stop the music. i have to check DIIV once again. ;) i've already heard AM (because it leaked) but i'm not impressed. i guess this album is ok but not amazing. i have to listen to it a few more times cos currently i find it a little monotonic.

oh, hey! that's great you found me. i didn't know you have a last.fm profile. we have a lot of band in common. i didn't know you like Phoenix. i could assume it since they're French. ;)

OMFG I'm so GLAD she's finally released an original album again (HEAVEN was two years ago)! I already LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I'm not sure if it'll beat Diamond Princess or HEAVEN yet but we'll see!

Oh, PLAY is a masterpiece and one of the finest crafted albums out there. Yeah, I should probably start putting all Namie albums in my no. 1 spot. For me they are all beautiful masterpieces and there isn't a song I don't like by her. Though of course they all took time to grow on me and I hated some of them first. Her older stuff is a bit harder to get into, but once you do it's so worth it I can't even tell you. And I agree with you; I can't believe how can Namie handle singing and dancing around like that. She definitely is more talented, and I also love the color of her voice and I think she sings way better than Kumi. I just dislike Kumi's vocals. Ayumi at least writes her own lyrics so that's a different talent she has. But as for performing, Namie all the way.

Yeah, last.fm's gotten exceptionally stupid lately. It's not even funny anymore. :/ Well, tumblr has its share of boneheads too, but it's not quite as bad as it is here. The only thing that gets me is that people don't know what the damn reblog button is for (my second tumblr is my Disney graphics tumblr and every now and then I catch something of mine reposted =_=). Oh, I LOVE Uncontrolled! I would have bought it, but I'm getting ready to go to Louisiana for vacation and had to save my money. The English version of GO-ROUND really took my by surprise!

Oh, I'll be popping back in every now and then! I started another job a while ago, and then I have my two tumblrs to keep up with too, but I'll probably get back into the swing of things. Actually, between April and July I tend to get bored with last.fm. Been like this for years.

I completely agree with you on everything. I can't wait for the concert either. Do you have a favorite album by Namie? For me it's very hard to choose because I'm a huge fan and love all of them almost equally, but SWEET 19 BLUES, break the rules and PAST < FUTURE are the ones that I'd definitely put in the top three. But in all honesty, they all could easily be my number 1 (except for Uncontrolled but it's still growing on me). I feel like some of her great albums like GENIUS 2000 are very underrated.

Yeah, I love In The Spotlight and Let's Go the most too. As for English versions, I really don't understand all that anglicized nonsense. If I want to listen to songs in English I'd look elsewhere. It really doesn't make sense to me. It's fine if they really have to mix both Japanese and English, because it still makes the songs stand out. But to completely cut out their own language and replace it with English is just boring and stupid (especially when they can't even pronounce it right). And you're not creeping me out at all, so don't worry about it.

Nice to meet another fellow fan! I love Cole to death, but I think I'm a bigger fan of Jack. Honestly, sometimes I don't know which male LA Noire character I'm fangirling more for, haha. Roy is a smexy bastard as well. As for Uncontrolled, I've only listened to the whole album twice, I love everything except for new English versions of GR/YO and the new version of Break It. New songs don't sound mind blowing, but I think they will grow more on me later. What do you think of it?

roses' reunion is one of the best news i've heard in months, y'know. when i first read it i didn't believe, so it wasn't a big deal. but it started to spread so fucking quickly, and when i was convinced that it's true i was like UGJHFIUSDKHBSDJG!!1! it's incredible =D and if they'll give a gig somewhere 'round me i'd be even more happy :)
