I think the music industry could be saved once people admits Big Beat was good and we bring that back. That is my woke opinion at least.

did you always loved RAM or did it grow on you with time? curious about it since, while I loved it day one it seems A LOT of people didn't for some reason, I'm glad I wasn't that connected with the online music community at the time and this allowed me to really enjoy that album, and also glad it's finally getting recognized more these days.

I think sometimes many people come across my profile and think I'm a newfag larp, what most don't know however is that, I was a lurker over /mu/ way way back in the beginning of the last decade, most of the albums you like today chances are I knew about a decade prior (even if it didn't instantly clicked with me at the time), I also knew about this website but never saw any reason to make an account here due to a lot of paranoia I have about things. I made my account here after someone I was mad into asked me to, needless to say that we don't talk anymore but, I decided to keep this account for some reason, and I think it was worth it for all the people I've met, I really like all my fm oomfs/moots even if we never really interacted a lot (you're always free to DM me btw! I suck at getting back but I promise that I will answer eventually)

Niggafication is by definition an improvement process, no doubt about that. However, I might have a problem or two with the process the author of the video described. He's right about getting hoes, but no mention of swag? He be turning himself into a nigga but still not a real nigga, that's a different thing altogether. Only goon nigga in these tiny pants, I was raised around pimps nigga

no problem! I definitely recommend checking the stuff he did as AFX, specially the ones that aren't on Spotify such as the Analogue Bubblebath series and the Analord series (maybe you perhaps have once listened to a track made by Richard called "Lisbon Acid" on YouTube way back in the day, if you ever wondered where this one was actually from, it is from the Analord series he did as AFX)

sure thing, I have no clue what you're looking for exactly but will recommend some albums based on Aphex Twin in our compatibility: Boards of Canada (Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi), Autechre (Amber, Tri Repetae and Chiastic Slide), Brian Eno (Ambient 1 and Ambient 2), Oneohtrix Point Never (R Plus Seven), Grouper (A I A: Alien Observer), Global Communication (76:14), Venetian Snares (Rossz csillag alatt született), Kashiwa Daisuke (Program Music), Orbital (Orbital 2) and Burial (Untrue). Also you def should check out Selected Ambient Works Vol 2 and Drukqs by Aphex Twin as well.

from what I gather from your profile: there are MANY albums you should listen to fully (Rossz csillag alatt született, R Plus Seven, Lunatic Harness just to name a few) other than that I'd recommend more Autechre (give Chiastic Slide, LP5, Anti, Garbage and EP7 a go, if you want real spastic IDM go for Draft 7.30), Squarepusher (Feed Me Weird Things, Hard Normal Daddy, Ultravisitor) and Venetian Snares (if you think RCAS and Chocolate Wheelchair are way too "breakcore" to your taste, try Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding) I also recommend The Campfire Headphase and In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country by BoC, also PLEASE don't sleep on stuff that is not on streaming such as Skee Mask and MANY of Richard's aliases like AFX and The Tuss (you can listen to Hangable Auto Bulb on Spotify tho iirc)

afaik not really, I just wont say he didn't cause I'm still yet to listen to his Soundcloud stuff (it's just, very long) so I can't say for sure if there's no hardcore techno on these but, I kinda doubt it, and no, don't think any of the official releases he did on any aliases ever really feel like hardcore techno (I'm assuming you thinking of something like Gabber/Makina/Frenchcore when saying Hardcore Techno right?)

well, guess I'm really becoming this type of person then, sadly I fucking hate the new update you have to click to view discussion so this why I haven't been commenting as much around anymore (and, most of the time I'm logged off this website and currently under a VPN since my country decided copying the UK OSA was somehow a good idea, and yeah last.fm is basically blocking people from viewing artist/albums/song pages if you not logged in it seems)

this shout made me laugh more than I should ngl lol, honestly I guess first things first if you haven't checked the Burial EPs yet PLEASE do so (Street Halo, Kindred, Truant/Rough Sleeper and Come Down to Us mostly) as for albums by other artist, I feel these here are somewhat similar enough and if you liked Untrue you will like them too: Massive Attack - Mezzanine, The Avalanches - Since I Left You (I don't recommend listening this one through Spotify tho due to version differences), Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right to Children and AL-90 - CODE-915913
