Yeah, we folk in the ol' colony have progressed from sacrificing virgins to.. i dunno, and slaves to the... dingoes?? L◉◉◉◉L So to appease the rancour and vitriol of us hoi polloi at the government's ineptitude and crappy infrastructure, they rightfully believe they can appease the masses in a more humane way by givin' the people great music! haha

Well, have ya finished crowin' to everyone ya knowin'... and don't? haha Has the natural dopamine rush been replaced by an alcohol laden painting of the town red? LOL Although most people about in Oz have heard a teeny bit about the British education system thru TV shows and movies, I gotta say, like most others Down Under, few of us really have any more than a rats ass of an idea what the hell A and O levels are all about. (:o So all I can say, if ya happy, I guess that's all that matters :)). Truth is, you'll be infinitely more successful in whatever endeavour you choose if peops like ya and you're fun to be round... that's what matters too! If ya want something more to crow 'bout... well, all those girders used to build that li'le bridge ya see in the background is genuine British steel... all shipped to us from the motherland. ;)

Yeah, the reason Rage has been so successful, is 'cause it's almost always been guest DJ'ed by one of the touring artists in the country. So the music playlist ain't by some toff in a suit ;)), but by the musicians^^ themselves!! The show's been DJ'ed by big name acts like Coldplay and any number of obscure artists like [artist]Amanda Palmer[/artist]... now, she was one foxy, crazy vixen! Luved her... ♥ Believe it or not, but the other fab thing bout Rage is it's on a govt channel, so there's NO ADS ^^... just 7 hrs of music vids. :))

Aw, thank you so much! :D Sorry for not replying earlier - I've been busy with my finals as well. No, oddly enough I've never seen any of the Russian bands in my playlist live, partly because I'm more into their earlier records and they're mostly touring with new.. By the way, I kind of feel like Last.fm is a very positive addiction, because it's such a great place to discover new music (and people, too ;) Have you discovered anything particularly interesting lately? :)

Whoooa :-o Thnx for the fab compliment! I'm pretty chuffed (:=)). I didn't really think anyone bothered to scrutinise & plunder my library haha. Hope you didn't waste too much money (:'>. I kinda owe a lot of the music in my collect to an Aussie music video program called [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rage_(TV_program)]rage[/url]. Ok, unlike most music vid shows which promotes pop music, Rage is stacked with indie, alternative, classic rock & 80's with a bit of pop thrown in. It's an Australian institution. Many of my top artists came from just one tune i loved & then went exploring some more. I then also followed some of the last.fm recommends... many were great too. Do you take any notice of 'em? Now I also plunder random artists from Last.fm friends... or anyone's profile that seems to have good taste... or NOT ;)) haha So, how do you find new music? A great week to you (:
