Guten tag, music_scholar, thanks for the shout. And sorry for the late response. Looking back, I find it surprising how much my tastes have changed since I first started scrobbling. The most frequently played stuff in my first year were a bunch of indie rock songs and Sufjan Stevens. They don't get that much playtime these days, not compared to R&B or downtempo music at least. Recently, I've also somehow gotten into rocksteady, though who knows how much I'll come back into it once my obsession with it wears off. The "1800 artists scrobbled" milestone has passed by already, and I honestly have no idea who it was. I think if we could see the weekly leaderboards 5 years back, I would never have cracked any week's top 100. I think I only hit such a high rank here because I scrobbled a bunch of compilation albums with various artists. Thanks for the surprise survey, music_scholar. It's cool to find out you've been trying the same with other users in 2019. Keep it up!
