sorry, no Brahms last night - guess it will be *next* Wed. But I do know that for 80 years after Beethoven 5 every symphony that started in a minor key ended in the major key. Beethoven 5 was a plot archetype :) I wonder what was so great about Brahms 4... (it did something different)
