Hi Pamela, what's the music you anticipate most this year? For me two of the most expected albums are already out - Trust and Neneh Cherry (loving both). But knowing that Frank, Lana, Perfume Genius, How to Dress Well, Twin Shadow and Lykke have all new stuff coming out, makes me very, very happy.

so as I just stumbled across your profile (the simian ghost event lead me here.. not many people attending so far.. ;)), and as probably everyone in life could do with band recommendations: if you do not yet know 'the head and the heart', check them out. I bought their lp last december in stockholm (coincidently) and they're pure gold. ;)

Post punk is my favourite genre easily. Shame they don't have the same quality of bands now at least i have the horrors there amazing.

Yeah i kind of feel the same way for both albums. Paracosm seems to have really great songs like weightless and all over now, but yeah i listened to it a lot to see if i would like it more and it kind of stayed the same for me. And yeah Within and Without, top to bottom is a great album. But that's awesome that you saw him live, Ive yet to see him want to badly though haha. Where did you see him?!

Plenty of my mates say the same thing basically, and I'm like '':( really'' hahaha. It's a band you either like or don't like I reckon! Belle & Sebastian are so good though, my favourite Scottish band by far, I feel like their music fit perfectly to the Scandinavian summer.

Ah, they are so bloody great, it's driving me insane how good they are, you're well lucky to see 'em live! Another band I wish I could see live is Camera Obscura, their new album is so sick.

well, there are only two songs i really like - Don't Hold the Wall, and Mirrors. and that exotic Spaceship Coupe probably. The rest seems like it could have been done better. And i agree that one of the reasons i am not much in love with the album is its length. But still, i think the world of music have been missing one of its really big stars, overall i am happy he is back.
