ah no worries, yeah dont listen to the radio is the best bet, cant avoid it when Im in the shower... still slightly prefer it to silence. Have no ideas think the adjective there is idiots, it was all a little underwhelming. Talking of 'forking out' Im looking at Muse & Eagles tickets on ebay... holy shit lol

god it was amazing, i didn't last the whole time though :( yes very embarassing fainted halfway through birds.. so lame! but i lasted two bands before birds too.. soo i was there for quite a while i guess haah. yeah i made a playlist the other day with all the bands on the lineup and i'm getting quite excited. really pumped to see children collide, and john butler <3 and think it would be pretty fun to go see bloody beetroots and LCD Sound system, but yeah i'm not too fussed about the line up, not as amazing as last year, but i guess nothing quite compares to muse, headlining and seeing kasabian :P are you going to any of the other summer festivals? i probably would but i'm not 18 for another 10 months :( quite depressing. especially when you find out on of you favorite bands is playing at the bended elbow! THE LIVING END! gahhhh, would have been amazing to see chris play :( but oh well, i guess my time will come haha xxx

hahah you are hilarious, yeah I dont listen to the radio much and dont touch triple j cant be bothered listening to 10 minutes of crap for the occasional good song they play or break. Yeah all those mentioned are decent saw Kasabian somewhere... when they just released that empire song or album or whatever they were decent, and their last album I gave a quick listen and quite liked it. Yeap just got back from powderfinger positivesome people thought it was the future festival 2.0 or something, people talking on the phones while im trying to listen etc! dropkicks

yeah I didnt go last year, I think muse were about all that interested me, haven't had the bands for me, I think I went last time with muse in '07. yeah thats annoying, its an expensive piss up. haha saw some ferals just about fighting at metallica was kinda funny, yep you're right you should have a feature article in the BDO timetables lol

that's too true, the only stadium shows we can accommodate are the huge ones that are going to sell over 20,000 or something the rest have to take the chance of a big loss at Rod Laver or cram into festy hall or something which sucks.Is better than nothing Tool sideshows just announced so I am still hoping against hope. That is true alot of people spend half the day in the beer tent, annoying lol, im waiting on a ballot or paying extra off ebay lol :(. Its a bit of a brandname I know people who do future and BDO just because they like 'festivals' ahha they dont care who's playing. Sounds like a good plan of attack!

And just seen that Marina and the Diamonds are playing at the Hi Fi bar, looks like we're in for a decent summer of touring afterall! ... maybe .. lol

Yeah its hard to find a venue for all their fireworks and huge stage I guess. It does indeed suck lota people want to hear rarer songs less well known ones not just du hast but a BDO set ca only be a hit set! Oh well better than nothing I guess. Got to ebay a ticket too, held waiting for sideshows sucks all round!

oh yeah Europe with all their amazing festivals and such .. I even just spent the last 5 weeks road tripping across America and just about every city I arrived in had someone cool playing there .. saw so many unexpected spontanious gigs .. Australia never seems to get that, everyone that tours here it's like such a big deal lol

haha tell me about it, i just got back from overseas which i had to give up my job for .. so already i've been buying tickets to shows before getting an income again .. it's stupid but you gotta do it when a good band comes by cos you never know if you'll get a chance to see them again!

That and why you'd even bother going out of your way to post there in the first place, obviously he wasn't going to the BDO haha. Yeah I've been trying to build it up again, I just found an app that will scrobble properly on the iphone which is great, but like everything involved with the iphone it is a drain on the battery, argh. Looking at your "gigs ive seen" list, we must have been at heaps of the same shows! haha

Yeah people like that are a pain in the ass really. There are plenty of festivals over the summer I don't like the line ups for but whats the point in telling people you don't like them, thousands are still gonna go and have a great time haha. Yeah my collection had to be reset recently, I had it going since 2005 and then when I got an iphone is just totally messed all the scrobbles up and was scrobbling each track I played hundreds of times! So now I've had to start from scratch grr!
