Aye, looked into it myself there, blatantly obvious, I just hadn't listened to that track and album in way too long

I like Super ae but totally love Vision Creation Newsun, they way the tracks flow together is amazing. Not seen them live, not seen much live at all in recent years, let's see, there was Enrique Iglesias in 2009 and.. and.. er.. that's it. Perhaps I should take myself to see Earth as punishment.

Aye, saw Ryan's poster for it last night and it reminded me I'd barely listened to it myself. Still not 100% sure on it but the last track is a thing of beauty

Not in the least bit annoying! You did promise to annoy me, and it never materialised. Which was somewhat disappointing. Chibe Smangus, perhaps?

You're maybe thinking of Momus, Comus was a late 60s folk band that sang songs about raping comely maidens and sacrificing virgins to the Comus beast. I recommend them.

http://mutant-sounds.blogspot.com/2009/07/marble-sheep-big-deal-cd-1992-japan.html I think you'd like this, sort of like Zappa and Mong Hang jamming

Urgell, sounds catalan. Sorry to say I haven't come across his work. I have one month left, then I'm free to procrastinate from doing useful things which don't include silly university things. Think I might write a book.; or poetry or songs or whothehellknowswhat. Don't think I can work for the man. Working for the fascist regime of M&S was bad enough:D

Jesus, have you heard Mong Hang's Family album? If we ever get round to putting on gigs we have to track them down.

Shit I missed Newswipe I think, 10.30 it starts, right? I think Brooker said it was just a "best bits" compilation on twitter. Young Marble Giants much cop?

Did I ever lend you the Anders Griffen album? He used to play drums for Jeff Lewis but this is pretty heavily based around jazz with a bit of hip hop mixed in, beautiful stuff!

I don't think so, there's been stand up comedy stuff on here before and I think Lynch's talk was also posted

The first track has some awful singing on it but the rest is good, pretty heavy too

Quadraphonic! If your scrobbles still don't work after trying what I said, maybe ask on the technical help forum and someone can take a look at it for you. Also keep an eye out on what.cd for a freeleech around christmas. Fill yer boots without worrying about ratio :D

Aye, the Slovakian guy in work was playing the best of Orb last week and I had "In Dreams" and "Anything You Want" in my head all week

That's happened to me too a fair few times only not for anywhere near as long. The way I normally fix it is open the last.fm application, click account, click your username and at the bottom of the app it should say something like "adding scrobbles" but it doesn't always work. I was wondering why your profile was quiet

I saw him at the April 07 ATP. Dirty Three were curating, and I walked within metres of the man himself, making eye contact. I walked past, turned back, but he was gone. There was a reasonable array of instruments. It was quite electric guitar heavy, which surprised me at first. He was a real highlight of the festival.

Aye, I was going to say, but despite my inebriated state I also remembered your username. Aye, Yann the man is great. Really quite diverse. You should see him live if you get the chance
