That's happened to me too a fair few times only not for anywhere near as long. The way I normally fix it is open the last.fm application, click account, click your username and at the bottom of the app it should say something like "adding scrobbles" but it doesn't always work. I saw him at the April 07 ATP. Dirty Three were curating, and I walked within metres of the man himself, making eye contact. I walked past, turned back, but he was gone. There was a reasonable array of instruments. It was quite electric guitar heavy, which surprised me at first. He was a real highlight of the festival.
