A Wilhelm Scream were really energetic i was quite impressed, i hadn't listened to much of their stuff, because the first time i checked them out i was young & ignorant and just passed. What do you recommend from them? added im still capped however i will note it. ps: awesome you're listening to A Loss For Words :)

yep i was definitely at that show! i thought there would be more people there but it was good cuz it was small and intimate! i really want FYS and SYG to tour Aus together! i think that show would be so fun. glad you like Sights and Sounds!! their record is insanely good. :)

exactly! i'm big fans of both mentioned bands! i'm also excited at this new wave of pop punk bands coming out, half of them aren't too bad at all! do you listen to A Loss For Words? ... oh and 'Sight and Sounds' are awesome i really like their sound, very melodic, very catchy.

i definitely agree! i think that's why pop-punk appeals to me. catchy melodies and choruses are the shiznit! this makes me realize maybe that's why CBK appealed to me so much when i got into them! Title Fight have songs which are pretty melodic, but it's not consistent throughout the record. ps: do you listen to andrew neufeld's side-project Sight and Sounds?

i dont mind the vocal style actually and they're a super young band so i think they're still developing their sound. but i get you about preferring This Time Next Year's vocals, its definitely more melodic.

Title Fight are awesome! they're super young but sound like saves the day/lifetime! im getting a tonne of music recommendations from ppl, but i get you about the whole 'so little time, so much music to listen to', but it's better than having nothing to listen to.

i initially went to Grizzly Bear just to accompany my friend and they totally blew me away! Passion Pit was heaps of fun, i think they're better indoors anyway! LOL @ your drinking! someone needs to remind you! Hopefully all the bands i want to see will do a sideshow as well as splendour.

I know what you mean! so many shows i've missed for that reason alone! i saw both of them at the start of the year, and would be heaps keen on seeing them again! splendour is so expensive so im hoping for sideshows as well.

Yep! MTB definitely one of my favs. I nearly missed them at SW last yr, to watch Finch but changed my mind last minute. I was at the sideshow too, oh and @ their Metro show in 08.

i think i just prefer Scott Wade's vocals. however i still appreciate them. Menos El Oso was also the record that started it for me. Btw it's awesome finding other minus the bear fans! :)

yep! one of the first bands that showed me the beauty of hardcore. however i haven't really listened to their material since 'wake the dead'. ps: you like Minus the Bear! hooray!

yeah secret country is crazy, i cant decide whether it tops absinthe yet, only time will tell. Dayglow Vista Road and The Thief are my favs atm, but its all incredible

yeah it does suck, album is damn fine too. Vinyl collective always have pretty decent shipping rates, dangerbird is just bleeding international fans dry on this one.
