So I just watched this incredible documentary called "Tarnation" about a week ago and I couldn't get the opening song out of my head. Little did I know that that song was "Laser Beam" by Low, and is in fact on the album you recommended to me. I love coincidences like this. Thanks again! I'm digging their sound so much!

I've been looking everywhere locally for Good Morning Spider, but can't seem to find it. Super frustrating, as I'd really like to give it a listen. Mmmmm, Vivadixie. My favorite track on that album is called "Saturday." Quite gorgeous, really :D Ah, and I blame all of my music tastes on my boyfriend. Especially Sun Kil Moon/Red House Painters. One of the first albums he lent me to add to my library.

Yes sir, I have. For some reason I don't like Dark Night Of The Soul quite as much as It's a Wonderful Life or Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot, but I think it just needs to grow on me. Plus, I'm convinced that IAWL is a masterpiece, so it'd be incredibly difficult to top. But there are some gems on the album, for sure. Mr. Linkous is/will be sorely missed :(

It's absolutely GLORIOUS!!! =) I can't get enough of it. I was talking to their sound techie/tour manager, Joe, yesterday. They are just coming to the end of The Gutter Twins tour.
