You'll just have to sing his songs to yourself, maybe it'll ease the pain of tonsil removal lol. I haven't seen him before, tbh I'd never heard of him until very recently - but I really like his stuff! I'll have to keep eye on his legs :P

Hey, I only clicked on your page because I saw your name and got a little excited over a Boosh reference. Then! I saw your thing about being sad without comments, and who am I to make someone so sad? Here's a comment from a random stranger, I hope it keeps the sadness at bay :)

Okay okay, I'm adding you on Facebook 'cause I can...I'm actually using it more now, too. :-o But I'll still reply on here! MySpace really has died, haha. Oh, why must you remind me of uni? Reaaally not looking forward to 9AM lectures again. Sigh. Narratives, eh? Sounds FUN, ha. What's your first going to be about? Blah, yes interviews, I guessss. I'm doing 'Visual' Journalism this semester so photos and videos FTW. See how that goes. But YES, I get to escape it all for a week away at San Francisco next month! How freaking depressing is the Matches "hiatus" (i.e. break up)? :(

I like how I wrote, "& then went to BOTHER their Qld headline shows in Sept," haha. Just added you on MySpaz! I might reply you on there, so I can utilise those paragraph-ing abilities that Last.fm doesn't offer. =P

I didn't end up getting any merch, but those Cobra shirts were pretty funky. Haha, the 'Saportasaurus' jacket? That was damn cool. He said some fans gave it to him earlier, eh? Maybe I should give FOB something to wear on stage beforehand ha. Thankfully, not just me, so I'm bringing a friend along. I've seen the Matches 3 times--at Soundwave & then went to bother their Qld headline shows in Sept. =) SO energetic, and have the best stage moves; those boys can dance! And super nice, too. But yeah, the grinning a lot thing--probably not the best thing for me; I think I freaked the Matches out doing that, haha. I was just really happy, okay. =p Yes, you & your friend must see them live when they come back! We can all be Brissy Matches buddies, I'm slowly building an army, mwahaha. Gah, I don't understand the drunkies at gigs either; I have enough trouble remembering the show when I'm sober ha. Oh, you don't have a MySpace do ya? I don't fair too well with Facebook. =p

(stoopid character limit) Aw, was your MSI ticket the same as on the Ticketek website? Do you have to pay the ghey 'processing' fee or whatever too? Haha, and I totally know where that Ticketek office is now; I always go past that McDonalds. I thought it was IN the Myer Centre, siiigh. And YES, I love Neighbours! Did you go to the Cobra/TAI/Panic concert last year, too??

Hahaha, what a wonderful idea. Ohhh, I can totally imagine myself saying that; it'll probably come out unintentionally, though. And accents are so fun! Haha, hopefully it won't be too awkward. YES, knowing 50% of their music fo' sure... that's a good starting figure. Actually, I never thought of it that way, but it's so true ha. Just some of them can be so aggressive, but, on the flipside, at 18+ shows you get all the wonderful drunkies. Haha, they can be quite amusing as long as they're not flailing next to you. =P Yay, not long til your b'day then! Yeah, you'd want some excellent 18+ gig to celebrate the 'privilege' ha. I'm sure something will pop up soon enough. '09 is looking to be a great year for tours. Hell yeah, the Matches need to release it soon...and then tour with that album even sooner, mwahah. They're QLD gigs are usually 18+ so there ya go. Now THEY are another amazing live band.

And M & G's--I have nooo idea. If it was anything like the last time I met a band then I'm going to act like a complete retard. Ah dear... haha, any ideas?

Haha, I can indeed say that without being a hypocrite. Yay! Ah, the age restriction sucks. I can't imagine not being able to go see what could be my favourite band, just 'cause I hadn't been alive for long enough. Though it does prevent the 'teenies', in the worst sense of the word, hehe. When do you turn 18? =) Hmm, apparently the Matches are working on a new album at the moment. A Band In Hope was released in March '08, but I'm hoping for yearly album releases by them. Yes, please. =D Yeah, MSI have fun, catchy, in-your-face songs--great for moshing haha, but I can't say I like them on the same level as I do other bands, if that makes sense. Great moshes are a major plus though! Pretty crazy last time. Gah, did you get your ticket in the end? Haha, I don't know where that Ticketek is either; I was half-heartedly looking for it yesterday to pick up some tickets I'd bought online. Haha, I'll have to Google the address again. But I did get my MSI ticket this morning on the net. =)

Aw you noticed, thanks so much!! Eww, 20. Don't remind me of my oldness, haha. I'm glad you like the Oxen art. I can't wait for the new Matches album, if only for the artwork. =p Haha, you're probably right; I did read a few of the other FOB comp entries...hmm, let's just say there were some very determined entrants with multiple entries, hehe. Ahh, MSI. I probably wouldn't be seeing them if I hadn't seen them before. They kinda blew away any expectations I had of them. I mean, their music isn't really anything spectacular I guess, but they put on a damn FuN live show. Ah, she's due in Autumn, eh? Wow, yeah probably wouldn't want to be doing back bends at that time...The replacement better be able to do them then. =P

Happy to help! Yeah, the singer of the Matches has an art 'company' called Oxen with a partner; I looove their stuff. Oxenoxen dot com, you should check it out. =) You're so right--we'll be dead before the day even begins 'cause of FOB, haha. Ah, well. I'm just hoping it won't be a 40+ degrees day like last year; that will surely kill me. =p I got tix for the FOB front mosh too, it's the only place to be! Yeah, I won a M&G on MySpace! Pretty lucky that they liked my stupid 25 words or less answer, haha. Hell yeah, MSI are very...unique. That's a safe word to use ha. Jimmy is SO entertaining, with his crazy crazy stage antics--At Soundwave he drank red bull out of a girl's prosthetic leg & danced around without his pants haha. I'm wondering if Lyn-Z will come, with her being pregnant and all, 'cause she has some damn cool stage moves too. =D

YES, and it's even better 'cause all the artwork is done by the band themselves. Haha, yeah I really like the Matches. =P Yes, you MUST stay for the whole day at SW, and be totally dead afterwards but it'll be so worth it haha. So I think I'll end up seeing at least part of NIN's set too--I think they're playing for over 1 1/2h. Crazy. Haha, yes I'm the same--I always look up the supports beforehand so I can sing along. =D And the same with female singers, but she wears cool clothes, so that's a start haha. Only recently got AAR's albums. They're a bit poppy for my liking, but good enough to sing and bop to, so should be a nice warm up for FOB. Are you in the front mosh? Not sure yet who's supporting MSI! Bit early yet, I think. But MSI always steals the show, from what I can tell from last year's SW, so definitely won't be any disappointments. =)

Haha, I have their CDs too! Only 'cause they're the Matches and only 'cause their artwork is brilliant. Aw, sucks that you missed out last year. =( I was lucky enough to find some tix from a seller online. YES, definitely Billy also and I'll probably end up seeing the headliners too. Y'know, just wing it on the day ha. But I do recommend Madina Lake. They were good fun last year; the singer likes to crowd surf, hehe. Umm, I didn't get to look at the merch wall last year. I guess it's just the average price--I wouldn't expect a shirt to be over $30-40? And Heeey Monday, I've actually only heard the one song of theirs that was on the CFOB mixtape. I've been meaning to get some more of their music. Are you into the AAR?

Haha, damn those seeds. I've got a link that might be easier: http://www.[spam] . Hopefully that works. Do you have their other albums? Did you get to see them at Soundwave last year? Can't wait for THIS year. So many bands to see; my timetable's sort of one big CLASH, haha. But the essentials are Jack's Mannequin, Alkaline Trio, Madina Lake and Say Anything. =D Yourself?
