I haven't been on top of the music scene for a few years. It's always great to come back to find some artists/music I've not been keen on. Really liking In Vain - The Latter Rain and Degotten - Hexentrost. So many more months and years of music to go through haha The only artist I stayed current on are Leviathan, Panopticon, Taake, Inquisition, Anna von Hausswolff and a few others. Haven't had time... thanks to all the shit weather we've had lately I can focus on music.

Yeah, I see your point. Furthermore in most cases you would be correct. But I think it's safe to say that Lone survivor is not the case. I myself am really sceptical about indie games and I enjoyed this one very much. So give it a try. Torrent it or something.

If you can stomach highly pixelated graphics I recommend you to check out Lone Survivor. This one-man-made 2D side-scrolling game really captures morose and disturbing atmosphere of the old SH games, and is surprisingly deep both in gameplay and storyline.

I've seen the trailers and it looks like there's a bit too much shooting/monsters jumping in your face/dismembered limbs flying. It's definitely more Dead space or RE4 than Silent Hill. But I'm curious to try it nevertheless.
