some theories about new venture capital and stuff, all I know is they only answered afew select noob questions and ignored hundreds of longtime paying customers. I bought a lot of credits there and so did a lot of other people. I think they were just so dead set against the idea of community. thats not what they were after, even though they really invented it. I quit mostly because listeners could no longer contact me as an artist. that was the real draw for me, someone in a distant land telling me my song connected with them in some way.

I don't know! they unveiled a new site and direction, and when the long time users started swamping their facebook with questions they ignored everybody and a series of shady blog post / bought? / blog posts popped up and then all the T61ers bombed the blog postings with stories about what was really happening and they scored a bunch of publicity and new page views but alienated literally hundreds of artists and listeners who gave it a few days and then left EN MASSE and wound up here http://uvumi.com where the owners have already had more communication with the Ex T61ers in 3 days, than those other guys had with us in two years. I have never seen anything like an entire virtual community pick up and leave someplace and then calmly sort themselves out at a new url the way this has went down. Beat Geeks, Electro Freaks, Parents who Love Music, Space Monkeys, and other T61 groups have already reassembled at uvumi. I don't care if they ever fix T61 I'm over it. great idea. shady dudes.

I would love to say hi but you know, I don't have a special V.I.P pass and there'll be to much fans behind your back, I don't know but I would really love to. If you give me the chance to say hello, maybe I could buy you a little silly gift. (I feel really cliché and I don't hate it) Lots of love from Cynthia.

Stereolab opened for AIR the first time I saw them, and Sondre Lerche the 2nd time. Both were incredibly good. I expected Stereolab to be great (my favorite band), but Lerche blew me away. ..and he stayed in the lobby afterwards to chat with people. Such a great guy. I think you should do the same at the San Diego show.
