Yeah, things have been p. good. I don't browse /mu/ that much these days either. I only really went to /mu/ for sharethreads, but people don't share the kind of stuff that I'm interested in much any more. Last year I'd just been listening to what was already in my library, but after seeing your folder I've been looking around and listening to new things kind of erratically. Still not exploring outside of my usual genres though, haha.

Yo, long time no talk! I hope you're doing well. Someone posted a slowcore MEGA folder that I've been using to delve a little deeper into the genre. I assume it's yours because it's got Villa Venus in it. Also checking out Love Claire led me back to the Pukekos blog that seems to have a lot of ridiculously obscure stuff. It's cool to find so much more new music.

Looks like your links are dead :( I'll search around but if you could possibly upload them it would mean the world. Thanks again :-)

Hey there, i'm looking for an album similar to Go Down, Moses. Perfect mix of field recordings and ambient music. Got anything similar to recommend?

Great choices, Stars of the Lid are easily my favorite too. Aloof Proof is brilliant as well, still can't believe how far ahead he was of his time. Haven't listened a lot of Preslav Literary School yet, but I thought La Réflexion Du Tir was stellar so I might look more into his work soon.

Just listened to Floating Weeds, really enjoyed that as well! Love is a Stream is probably my second favorite release of his, although as you said it can definitely hit like a truck if you're unprepared. By the way, just wondering, who/what's your favorite ambient artist/group?

Thanks for the recommendation, I had it sitting in my library already but I never took the time to listen to it, for some reason. I really enjoyed it! Have you listened to Conversations with Myself? That album's definitely my favorite.

Well, if any bands come to Europe, they usually avoid my country anyway. Though there are some festivals on which cool bands come so that's something.

Hey, man. What's some good ambient for someone with very little experience in the genre?

I've never heard of that band before, I'll check it out soon. Cheers for the rec! I was about to rec you Chokebore's Black Black but I see you've listened to it already. What's your opinion on that album?

Yeah man, shame I had just discovered them recently. Their album lowercase is great! It felt relatively more atmospheric than other slowcore albums that I've heard so far.

It helps if you don't have any expectations at all. Sometimes cool things happen.

Life has been a crawl since about 10 years, it's a chore, but my new happy pills are kinda cool. Can't complain too much.
