Hey, thanks! It really was - they put on such a great show!

You should check out this page and like us on facebook. We are a brand new electronic indie rock band from Chicago. We've literally only existed for a week as far as the internet is concerned. You can download the songs on the page (for free of course) tell us what you think http://www.facebook.com/pages/Speak-Said-The-Poet/300594890000883

Sorry for the mega late reply! My mate is Icelandic and knew the guitarist, I can take no credit for it but I was very happy!

Hope you have a great Christmas!

Hey! It was my second time actually, I saw him at Bestival this year but the sound at the Apollo was insane! Got to meet him at the after party, he's so charming!

yeeeahhh!!! =]

No problemo bro, glad I could help. Did you check out those Under An Hour B-Sides? They're pretty cool, and pretty funny at times.

Are you on Sony's Fantasy Festival yet? It rocks. http://fantasyfestival.last.fm/invite/?key=fe2a126fb65a4a45e3134170c06444c9&r=8Chris8

I'm glad you like it! My dad (biggest Tim Buckley fan ever, so I have been listening to such child friendly toons such as Move With Me and Morning Glory since I had ears to hear) had a copy of Live at the Troubadour 1969 (his fave live album this side of Dylan/Budukan), and I raised all kinds of hell when I used the CD cover as the base for a makeshift candle stick. Oops. It is very highly reccommeded. The Dream Belongs to Me, which is probably my favourite, has live tracks from TV perfs and festivals as well as unreleased studio cuts. It kills for his original version of Song to the Siren, which is pared down, simply performed and beautiful beyond words and the bluesy, sexual energy of the Honey Man track. The critics love Live in London 1968, and it is worth it alone for the live perf. of Phantasmagoria in Two and for the Pleasant Street track which morphs into You Keep Me Hangin' On.

I saw your shout on the Tim Buckley page. If you're still wondering, the last.fm Pleasant Street is from the "Honeyman" live album rec. in 1973. I love all of his live cuts - very funky. Peace.

Hey, just saw your post about where to find the unreleased rival schools record, thanks for the tip-off!

going to IOW and muse! Have a wicked time x

Wasn't near as good as United By Faith, but it had some solid tracks on there. I really liked Can't Touch It, Risking Everything and The Perspective Reach. Cheers again!

oh thanks a bunch!
