in response to your question about "abrasive" music, just look up grindcore ex: Anal Cunt, the Locust. I'm going to assume you haven't heard of it, in general any form of extreme metal is also going to be highly abrasive to most. Powerviolence is pretty intense ex: ACxDC, Spazz. Hardcore techno, ex of styles: Gabber, speedcore, breakcore are noisy and fast. Oh, and Merzbow, most people can't stand experimental noise. Look that stuff up. I hope I haven't insulted your musical knowlege but those seem to be some good starting points as far as it comes to music that the average person can't stand. Enjoy.
