Thank you so so much for the feedback! I agree, this is definitely a much more cohesive, thought out release. You'll be pleased to know that the next Sun Thief will likely be geared even more towards dense, layered drones and field recordings, with even less "obvious" acoustic instrumentation. ;) Also, there will be a new release from my collaboration Methuselah here in the next month or two, which will be very much in the Oophoi-Tim Hecker vein, lots of huge organ-y synths and field recordings. Thanks again for listening man.

yeah i agree with you, i like flares more. dying in time is released on n5MD so you can imagine what it sounds like. it's hard to get underground artists' releases here, biosphere will come to china so i hope he'll bring some of his records. um... if you recommend me some artists or tell some other things too, that's always welcome... :)

sound cold and worth a listen, if you like thermidor or project arctic you should try it. and... i saw you're listening to a lot of port-royal stuff. their new album is more electronica than before, much better than new french teen idol album imo.

yeah I really should check those out. I was a bit disappointed to read that the tracks on Quaristice were more like improvisations, or less refined than usual for them. I actually liked Untilted a lot - the more intense (aggressive?) approach on that one... From what I remember Quaristice was pretty subdued. Anyhow I should get around to listening to it again.

Yeah they're pretty special. One of the few black metal bands I really like... What did you end up thinking of Quaristice? I still haven't listened to it enough.

which rapoon is that? i've got "alien glyph morphology", "i am a foreigner", "raising earthly spirits" and "from shadows sleep". they are all awesome and im trying to decide which one to get next. reformed factions "the war against" is also so fucking good.
