ha ha ha... if indeed want to enjoy the noise then you need to get used to some weaker songs. For me at first was @Parhelic Triangle@ of Autechre... well when you will like album Confield of Autechre then you can listen Merzbow... For me was very easy used to because i created creepy game and used some sounds... for begin listen some songs like "1930" or "Slave New Desart" of Merzbow on minimum volume in headset... try to understand this song... two or three times enough.. and after turn on another (not painful) song. but if for you this songs really painful not need raping by this sounds your brain... at first i had listened this song "This Dying Toad Become Forth with Like Coal For Colour Black" (from video clip) and after seven times listened i like it... this is hard process but i sure this is useful for nerves...
