Having already engaged in the practice of music for over a decade, Mikel has become an active member of the music world through the establishment of various projects and active collaboration with a wide variety of artists. Throughout this process he has had the opportunity to apply his skill of articulating an array of musical genres and styles to shape current and future projects through his primary instrument; the guitar.

In 2012, Mikel established and now fronts Los Angeles based rock group SOAP in addition to having worked with TRAYDKRAFT, an electronic group also based in the Los Angeles area.

In regard to collaboration projects, Mikel's latest focus has been writing and producing electronic dance music with notable Los Angeles based producer and DJ, Remy Le Duc. In 2012, the two released a preview of their first track titled "Straight Into The Sky," which features both a vocal and guitar performance by Mikel.

Mikel is currently working on a debut EP with his band SOAP set to be released in Summer 2013.
