Microsampling is literally taking minute-sized, "samples" from other artists; split seconds of other artist's work, and applying them together, one after another, with a certain aesthetic behind it, creating a glitchy sound. Often microsamples are very close in length, and a four-to-the-floor beat is often used behind it to help hold everything together.
