Grumpcore is an genre of experimental music which was pioneered by Curtis Flowers and the Grumpers in 2013. The music is characterized by heavy use of vocal samples, references to grumper culture and famous youtube Casketking00, a sound collage aesthetic, and a mix of soft and harsh sounds. It is often entirely constructed out of distorted musical samples, though it can also be made including, or entirely with acoustic intruments. Grumpcore is often referred to as "Grump Music." Most grump music is connected to Grumpflower Records.
