Eel-core is that sound you get when you combine one's overactive imagination combined with the pure ecstasy of the sound of synthesizers and vocoders. It commonly includes, yes, you guessed it, SYNTHESIZERS AND VOCODERS! But what separates eel-core from other electronic acts is the influence from genres ranging from Deathcore to Post-Grunge, Black Metal to Shitgaze, and Pop-Punk to Shoegaze. In short, everything that isn't considered a "Classic." This includes (but is not limited to) Chillwave, avant-garde, noise rock, brutal death metal, and queercore.
