Ambient bitcore is a subgenre of bitcore and ambient chiptune that combines elements of metalcore, post-hardcore and ambient pop with bitcore. The genre can be considered related to bitpop and is largely instrumental, often used for bitcore interludes. Ambient bitcore peaked in the mid-late 2000s. Artists include Insert Disc, I Wonder What's For Dinner, xxpaperboyxx, Rawesome and more.
