Yep, you were near me then. I would have liked to have been able to meet the whole band, but it was past midnight and my brother-in-law was waiting to drive me home. Never mind though, two autographs is more than a lot of people get so I'm happy with that. Once I get the pictures from James, I think I'm going to use the one of me and Bernie as my profile pic just to show off! I've got my T-shirt on today as well.

It was brilliant - I was standing in the second row back from the front and had an absolutely fantastic time. Like you, I didn't want it to end - I started crying during These Days. I was so happy they played Belter - those two were the first Powderfinger songs I ever heard. After the concert, two friends and I hung around and got to meet and have pictures taken with Bernard and Ian which really topped things off nicely. We were also allowed into the soundcheck beforehand as James and his girlfriend had met the band after the Glasgow gig and asked Darren if they could come to the soundcheck. He said yes, so when I met up with them outside the Academy, we went round the back and spoke to the security people + their tour manager who checked with the band and the venue and we were let in. They did Belter and Iberian Dream and I made Bernie laugh as I called out "Any chance you can do Tail?" I shouted for it during the concert too :o)

I saw Whale Rider on TV a while back - I liked it. I'm trying to build up my collection of film soundtracks. There are a number that I haven't got round to buying yet and really ought to. I've found some of them here on last.fm - sometimes the playable versions are under the names of the musicians rather than the soundtrack composers.
