oh jimmy eat world.

I honestly have no idea how he'd feel with sharing his discontinued music. I don't know if he had any say in whether or not it was still printed or if it wasn't his decision at all, if he'd be alright with it being distributed since he can't get money from it now anyway or what. I did some googling and Iknow that stone tree had been offered for free on his site before jacaranda came out. it was edited a little from the original recordings and a couple songs were removed (source of information: http://shanebertou.wordpress.com/2007/03/15/free-josh-garrels/). I'd be happy just to get those eight tracts that were legally distributed for free at one time, and I'd love to buy underquiet but I haven't been able to find it anywhere :( honestly I have looked for both albums online and wouldn't mind sending thirty bucks and in a card to him with an explanation or something but they're so obscure, no one's even uploaded them anywhere to share illegally.

Anyone who loves Josh Garrels is alright in my book.

Daft punk eh? I just heard them for the first time a couple weeks ago, and i really like it too.

that's really all i've heard of him too, i listened to some stuff of his on myspace a long time ago, but none of it sounded like that song, so i never really bothered again. but it is a great song. I just love the Donnie Darko soundtrack.
