Bästa kvällen i mitt liv i 31 dagar!

Jag åker till Varsjava på QOTSA konserten näste månad! Jag vet att de ska spela i Sverige också, ska du vara där?

Okay, so... Kan du berätta lite grann om dig själv? På svenska of course. ;) I'll try to understand & write sth back.

Jahå. :) When I was learning German (I gave it up a few months ago) no one has ever told me that there are some rules of memorizing der, die and das, I've come to realize it when it was too late. :P Tyska is the ugliest språket in the world in my opinion, svenska is similar but it has some beautiful words, such as flicka or pojke. I'm really happy that I've found a new hobby. :D

Tack så mycket! The book which helps me learn Swedish is called "Svenska utifrån", do you know it? It's quite cool, but it's all written only in Swedish, 'cause it's created to teach people from all over the world, not only Poles. Awesome language, I've already started bragging at school :D Haha.

Hope you don't mind that one more question (I think I'm gonna have quite a lot of them, since I'm learning Swedish without a teacher). When you talk about time, and your daily activities, you say something like, for example, Jag somnar/vaknar KLOCKAN ett/halv nio/två/kvart i ett, etc.? I mean, is "klockan" the right word between the verb and the number?

They sound so innocent. Do you use them daily? :D I'm listening to some recordings of spoken Swedish right now, trying to follow the text. :P The language seems easy, but that accent... Shit...

Hur säger man "fuck" or any other common cuss word på svenska? :D None of the YT tutorials say this :(

Ja, men är de bra? :D I'll listen to them later for sure. :) I realized that I do have some Swedish artists in my library! (ABBA is one of them of course) but they don't sing in Swedish.

Do you have any GOOD Swedish rock bands to recommend? I'm just searching for any possible way to get used to this language. Listening and memorizing Swedish lyrics would be the best.

Yesss lastfm is awesome, I didn't like it at first, but now 'm an addict. Oh that's great. I'm trying to understand all those rules of pronouncation. You guys have some crazy accent put on the words. They sound like an awesome melody. Haha you probably won't believe, but in Polish we also have the same word (spelled the same way) - "Hej" for "hello" :)

Well I wish I spoke English fluently. I'm still improving it whenever I have some time. I met an amazing guy from America here on Last.fm. I learned so many new words thanks to him. :) Can't wait for being able to have a Swedish conversation with you :P Do "Tja" and "Tjenare" have the same meaning as "Hejsan"?

Wow that's great. Well, in Poland we also learn English at school but the classes and teachers mostly suck. They can't or don't want to teach effectively. If I didn't have the internet, YT and my favourite English or American music, I'd probably speak poorly. So young people (who care about their English) are able to speak it. But some of them just don't care or they only THINK that they're great at it and the truth is that they suck. People who are more than 25-30 years old usually don't know English at all. At least my parents don't :P

Tack så mycken! We have some snow here, it hasn't caused any problems yet. But it probably will... Is it true that most of Swedish people speak English very well?

Yeah and Russian is really similar to Polish so it's a pure pleasure, even though they have totally different alphabet. Both - Polish, russian, or any slavic language is really hard to understand for people from other countries. Actually, I hate German but Swedish looks so cool. It reminds me of Astrid Lindgren and all those swedish words that have appeared in her books. Well I'm still in high school. :)

Just English, German and Russian. In English I reached the fluent communication level, German is quite easy but I don't know many words, and I started learning Russian around 3 months ago so it's the beginning. And who knows, maybe Swedish would be a good choice.

Yeah I just wanted to know if you're a blonde guy with extremely light skin and blue eyes, that's just a stereotype. Well typical slavic girls look similar, but I don't fit into that category. I'm dark-hairerd. :) Do you know any other foreign languages except for English?

That's an awesome name :) Of course you can add me. Do you live in Stockholm? My dream living place would be a small Swedish village or something like this. That's weird because I hate snow and winter. But it's not that cold by the seaside.

It was the compilation of stories called "Nils Karlsson Pyssling", it's so amazing, Scandinavian books for children are so dark and sweet at the same time. I grew up reading Astrid Lindgren's and Tove Jasson's stories, I'm even thinking about learning your language, I don't have much time for this though. Btw, how old are you? And what's your name? I'm always excited about Swedish names.

I just took some random Swedish name & surname as my nickname, "Ylva" has also appeared in one of the Astrid Lindgren's stories that I really really love, so if I ever move to Sweden, I change my name to Ylva Sjorgen. :) Yeah you can swim there. Poland isn't that bad at all.

Thank you! :) I've never been to Sweden and I don't know much about that culture but I have some kind of love for this country. My nickname proves that.
