I actually ordered another version now, too. Haha. The special edition one with LPs/CD/DVD. lets see when i get THIS one. I havent heard glasvegas, i wanted to see them live with my friend at a festival because she was a fan of some of the members earlier work (is that possible?? or am i making it up?) but the train was delayed. And I thought the best debut album after up the bracket was Working For A Nuclear Free City - Businessmen & Ghosts ;)

Ha, no. I actually got another mail that the order is delayed even further. Never going to order something from the UK again... I say that but Idont mean it anyway. Its getting kind of ridiculous. But I really dont feel like downloading it. Plus Ive got a bet going on. Ive still got a 1/2 weeks for listening to 15 records 5 times and reviewing each. Phew. Its silly but fun. Anyway, I dont think I'd be able to... give the record the attention it needs right now.

did you expect it to be...? I actually still havent listened to it. Kinda silly, yesterday I got a mail that my order is delayed. Pfff... so I either go and buy the vinyl this week or I need to download anyway.

It's on the Live From Brixton Academy CD. If you want me to upload, I think it's rather good. Ah, I don't really know The Drugs Don't Work is so... musically dull. I mean, I like the lyrics, I like Richards voice on it and so on, but there's something about it that annoys and bores me at the same times. I'm totally into simple music but this is just not working for me. I like half of Urban Hymny better than this, and the rest I don't really like either. Haha, yeah, I know. I'm not a big fan of their "britpop" stuff, it doesnt suit them.

Pan Am Slit Scan. Yeah, Id love to hear Club Foot live. Man, even more Cutt Off though. I loved this before the album was out even. How is the Ben Harper cover of the drugs dont work? Ive never heard it. Then again... I really dont like the song anyway. One of my least liked Verve songs, I just erased some live versions of this off my mp3player, I always skip them anyway.

I didnt even know Kasabian were doing a new one! Well, I jus didnt think about them much lately... although I was blown away last week when my mp3player randomly smacked a live track of their in my face. They really should come here again. At least Im finally getting to see Coldplay this year! looking forward to the album too eve though the cover is so... so bad its almost funny again.

Just got into Yeasayer. Really liking them. From what Ive seen they seem promising live. Other than that no new bands for me except for Working For A Nuclear Free City. I live very much in the past musically, haha. Seriously though, I just bought a bunch of Happy Mondays and Mansun and The Fall and Im working through that, what about you? ... Oh yeah, not completely true. I finally bought the last Deerhoof album on vinyl, what a wicked band.

No you see, my computer is a bit fucked and windows media player is the only player that will make ANY sound. I used to have itunes but it just stopped working along all the other ones. Its really annoying not having youtube and all the other programmes working but I never was more annoyed than right now. I wondered if that's where you got it from actually. Weird. I really really like it, but of course you cant have the same effect when its a stripped down acoustic guitar version and not with the full band. It got a totally different appeal.

It was a bit like Travis' version of Back In Black. I love it.

Ihatemusic let me listen to the cover version and I told her two weeks ago that I always have that version in my head whenever the song title is mentioned. Now it's the other way round. I can't remember how Andy Bell's version sounds...
