I always have difficulty with suggesting similar artists, because I tend to notice the differences... Still, if you haven't tried [artist]Barış Manço[/artist] or [artist]Cem Karaca[/artist] you might like them -- [artist]Kâzım Koyuncu[/artist] too, for a different sound. I'll keep thinking about others, and get back to you if I come up with anything.

You're AMAZING! That song is so beautiful! And her english singing is so cute. By the way, I couldn't find the source from the EP cover I've mentioned, but I re-uploaded the picture. Do you think it's official? Take a look: https://photos-6.dropbox.com/t/0/AAA3UZDjVntEdWwFcqpnvfgsMFm-BiEiKqby516qJsLhJg/12/183563847/jpeg/1024x768/3/1377486000/0/2/geraldine.jpg/8Ekec4YBZawcjy0pkaEHNnm1ubku2-ZmhH7QwaW5rxM

"Music you have in common includes Μάνος Χατζιδάκις, Σταύρος Ξαρχάκος, The Kinks, Marianne Faithfull and Donovan". Not a bad spread, but I see that your playlists include lots of interesting looking stuff that I've not come across. I looked in on you because of Σταύρος Ξαρχάκος, but I'll have to investigate further... starting with Καίτη Χωματά , of whom I'd never heard I'm afraid.

Ah! And I found a spanish and a german versions of Quel coeur vas tu briser. The first (Que corazon sera) is a cover from Los Stop, and the second (Gib Mir Mein Herz Zurück), from Suzie. And... I've been very addicted to the "mysterious" Victoire Scott lately. Abigaël can't stand out of my mind!

Bonsoir, c'est moi! Sorry for the late reply, too. Been very busy lately. Anyway, about Geraldine, I've managed to find some information about her, into one of her LP covers. The cover states that her real name is Geraldine Gogly (and, curiosly, some search on the Google revealed that there is a voice actress by that name... could be her?). According to the cover information, she was a part of the Les Djinn chorus, and also seem to have been involved in some musical production at the cabaret Le Trois Baudets. The cover also says that she won three times some Téle Monte-Carlo show/contest called "Marguerite 1967" (no idea what this was supposed to be). Her favorite hobbies: long walks (at the beach? haha), and the "modern dance". Favorite writer: Jacques Prevert. Her idols: Bob Dylan and Jean Baez. (I saved the picture of the cover, but can't find the source right now). Nothing to be too much excited, but it's a starting point.

Hey, do you have any info on Géraldine Gaulier? She was at Eurovision 67, with a nul point song called Quel coeur vas-tu briser? . I'm in love with her voice, but can't find anything about her at all.

That's so awesome! It's a small still but she looks cute. It's funny that she sings about being Madame Superman, but the comic strips resemble Batman. And there's Jacques Dutronc too, haha.

Elizabeth? The same from Je suis Sublime? I've heard her singing, but never saw any vids of her. Actually, I've never seen any pictures of her! But Madame Superman is a cute music (just heard it here), so I really, really hope that you'll find that video! As for Cloclo, I think he had "the looks and the moves", that's why he was so popular. And to be honest, I really like some of his musics. LOL

That's just sad. I was hoping that France Gall's role could be a little bit longer. ): Yes! I liked your Chantal's clip very, very much! "Notre prof' d'anglais" is so full of energy, and it's so much fun. And I was surprised to see the "teacher" on that video. LOL It's my favorite music from Chantal Kelly, along with "Caribou".

I was a little disappointed with France's part in the Gainsbourg biopic, but yet, it was nice to see her in the movie. And that version of "Baby pop" was awesome. As for "Cloclo", I still haven't watched it, but from the promo trailer, France appears wearing her Eurovision dress. I hope there's some Poupée de cire on that movie!

Something new about Natacha Snitkine? I'll be surely waiting! :D ps. Have you seen "Cloclo" (My Way)? I was curious about this film, mainly because of France Gall.

No, I haven't seen this before! How amazing. And I could never find out that her name is/was Nadia Voyevoda. It kinda reminds me of Natacha Snitkine, another lovely mademoiselle. (I'm with her "Monsieur Jules Verne" stuck in my head the whole week!).

I stumbled upon your youtube channel randomly and just happened to click on the Moppets video, and now "Cry Just a Little" is one of my favorite songs of all time! So, actually, I salute you :) I also enjoyed reading your blog post about them and Pam's responses. One can only dream about a world in which the Moppets had remained together and made more music..
