SYN:DROM was formed in Sundsvall, Sweden in 2002 with the intention of making supreme death metal. Between 2002 and 2007 SYN:DROM recorded 4 demos that got a alot of great reviews in the metal press all over the world.
First out was “Dead silent screaming” wich was a 5 track demo that got great reviews but was mostly an experiment for trying to find the sound that would eventually become the SYN:DROM sound. (if you got a copy of this one you’d better hold on to it)
“Dead silent screaming” was followed by a couple of demos and a full lenght effort that never got to see the light of day.
In 2006 the “Birth of a dark emire” demo was recorded and SYN:DROM had developed into a brick wall of intence and aggressive death metal. The influences of Nile, Hate eternal, and decapitated was mentioned in numerous reviews and the demo got praised in some of the worlds biggest metal magazines!
The bands influences comes from a wide array of death metal bands. Some of the main influences are Nile, Hate Eternal, Behemoth, Vader, Deeds Of Flesh and Decapitated.
In 2009 SYN:DROM was signed to ViciSolum Productions and the debut album “With flesh unbound” was released worldwide on April 30th! The album has received massive feedback from the metalpress and some has even mentioned that it could be the "death metal album of the year"!
SYN:DROM will take the album out to the clubs of scandinavia and Europe during fall 2010!
