Not bad, though I personally still prefer Koyaanisqatsi as far as Glass goes. If you want something similar you could try Arvo Part's Alina or Tabula Rasa, or Valentin Silvestrov's Leggiero, pesante. Debussy and Satie's piano works are all not too far away. Some jazzy stuff like Bill Evans' Peace Piece too, along with McCoy Tyner's Echoes of a Friend and Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert. A lot of classical/jazz crossover records on the ECM label have a similar feel to this album. Well worth investigating!

I don't know somehow....this is like the saddest piece of music I've ever heard.

I bought Glassworks this summer and loved it but got distracted with schoolwork for a while. Then while watching the second season of Battlestar Galactica ("Valley of Darkness") I heard a beautiful piano piece and couldn't rest easy until I found out what its name was. Then I found out it was Metamorphosis One. Great album.

Beautiful music, very chill. I actually listen to this a lot when I am studying, it really helps.

This was my first foray into Philip Glass and it remains my absolute favourite. Walking around early in the morning with this is what the word beautiful was made for. Matched only by hearing it live.
