The festival based in Hildesheim has grown substantially since its recent beginning in 2000 and is now a fixture on the European festival landscape. The biggest European wave and gothic festival attracts about 25.000 fans every year to celebrate a melancholic-dark weekend.
A fashionable outfit with a touch of medieval, maybe some PVC or leather is as popular as black clothing. Or white if necessary. Most fans show themselves in the same individual and artificial way as the artists on stage.
