Biography
The StyxX (Frans Rodenburg) started making music at the age of 15. Early tracks however, were never released.
StyxX' main influence are Amon Tobin and music used in movies or games. StyxX uses only software to create his music. No instruments, no MIDI devices and no Live-recording. Most samples used are edited samples of single instruments, cut up, downpitched, reversed, delayed, phased and mixed with other samples. The Tambura for example is used in almost every track of The Encounter, but it can only be recognised well in Walking Tall.
