He holds a profoundly useless degree in history and philosophy from Morehead State University. He is an avid fan of pen and paper gaming, crocheting, and tea. He is the founder and only important member of The Urethras? What few good things the band has to offer should be attributed to him because, in all likelihood, he is responsible for them.

Luke Grimes

(April 24, 1990 – To Be Continued) is a human musician, enthusiast of literature and philosophy who studies at Morehead State University, and the newest Peehole member. Luke Grimes was born at Central Baptist hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Grimes interacted with a wide array of writers and artists throughout his studies at Morehead State University, including: Alaina Rhinesmith, Jac Kincaid, Boone Kincaid, Kyle Hager, Daniel Mattox, and Sosha Pinson.

The Early years
Luke Grimes received a diverse education, developing mediocrity in both Spanish and English. Grimes began playing piano during High School and continues to study both guitar and vocals to this day. In his early adulthood, Grimes surrounded himself with an eclectic and eccentric hodgepodge of aforementioned philosophers, writers, artists, and musicians. Such profound pontificators had considerable influence on his life and, while encouraging Grimes’ ever more out-going behavior, also contributed greatly to his lack of concern for propriety. The myriad musical influences of Grimes are scattered and extensive. To List a few in alphabetical order: The Beatles, Beethoven, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, and The Dresden Dolls.

Career
The musical career of Luke Grimes started with his indoctrination into Urethra-ism. Here, with three of his fellow Bath Countians, Grimes began recording with The Urethras on their first album entitled “Slightly Too Loud!”. The four rambunctious rapscallions locked themselves away for five days and recorded said album in the basement of the Grimes’ family abode. The career of Grimes continues to grow and the world will watch with what can only be described as utter apathy.
